Thanks to whoever linked to Hot Wires, no VAT here so I got it for £24.99 - fantastic, DD2 will be delighted!

TyrannosaurusBex · 09/11/2013 17:02

And now the Little People Disney Princess Palace for £23.55! Mightily chuffed...

janx · 09/11/2013 17:07

Reastie · 09/11/2013 18:22

notso might not be that bargainous but I saw someone buying wooden pretty letters for a bedroom door when I went into Jojos this week. Not sure if that's the sort of letters you want though Hmm . Maybe next or not on the high street or etsy?

Jacqueline that's interesting re: murad. 100 sets for zest isn't alot is it! Do you think there were 350 orders from this thread alone???! Shock lucky you getting all the stuff.

siblingrevelry you can get bags of 40 cinnamon sticks on ebay for £2.50 which would be okay for Christmas decorations/wrapping but they're not suitable for food use.

notso · 09/11/2013 18:32

Thanks Reastie DD is 13 so probably a bit too old for them Grin
Coincidently I went to jojo today with my invitation. I picked out a 10% off code and looked a bit Hmm to my Mum and said I could get more off online, so the woman said I could pick again but got 10% again Sad
The free gift was some chocolate, a tiny teddy and some stickers so I didn't bother with it.

Reastie · 09/11/2013 18:39

notso yes I went to jojo too but we didn't get a teddy or stickers, we got a carboard mouse thing and some thorntons chocs I can't gift as they are best before the end of this month (oh well, just have to eat them...). I picked out 10% off too but did have to buy something (got DD some tights) just to get the free stuff (I didn't realise you have to buy something to get it and DD was desperate for her free things so I had to get something Hmm )

I thought it was a bit of a swizzle that you had to buy something to get the free gift TBH, it's not like there is much there under a fiver. They didn't have the snoods I wanted for DS2&3 so I'll use the online code.

Just to draw your attention to the Salvation Army Xmas present appeal which will run from now until the 16th of December. If you can please donate an unwrapped gift for someone in need. I dropped off a bag of new, duplicate gifts from my sons party.

StarvingBookworm · 09/11/2013 19:01

A big but convoluted thanks! DD (4y) is obsessed with playing school so when I saw the amazon school playset link I sent to DM who needs ideas - but then saw Reastie mention that Poop had seen similar in B&M, so off we went. Really pleased to get one for £7.99. Grin

Similar role play sets they had were cafe, vets and post office. On one shelf it said reduced to £4.99 -DM paid £7.99 but still a bargain! V pleased so thanks to all who helped the thread get there!

lucysmam · 09/11/2013 19:02

Well, that's my plan for Monday buggered....Tiny Tears is out of stock at my nearest Toys R Us Sad

Has anyone seen her on offer elsewhere? Smile

Ilikesweetpeas · 09/11/2013 19:21

raisah thanks for posting the Salvation Army link. I have a bag of new toys so will ring on Monday and find out where to drop them off

WannaSplitAPineapple · 09/11/2013 19:24

Oh ey I go off to do family stuff and I've missed all the toot toot bargains. I clearly need to stayed glued to my phone at all times.

iloveholidays · 09/11/2013 19:31

grew · 09/11/2013 19:31

AllIWant85 · 09/11/2013 19:33

The Toot toot offers are still on Wanna

Train station £29.99

Garage £20.63

Airport £16.66

Construction yard £19.99

3 vehicles £9.98

Sukebind · 09/11/2013 19:36

Moonpig are doing buy one get one free for one week only (apparently). Just got two personalised Flower Fairy Christmas cards for about £3.59 incl delivery.

kateecass · 09/11/2013 19:37

Janx what size glass bottles are you after for making flavoured vodka? I've mainly been looking for the 250ml ones with swing tops (like Grolsh) but closest Ive found is this

AllIWant85 · 09/11/2013 19:39

Wanna if you click on them you can still get them at the Amazon price even though they are out of stock. Just scroll down to the buying options.

For example the garage now says £39.99 but if you scroll down you can still buy it from Amazon for £20.63.

janx · 09/11/2013 19:49

kateecass - those bottles look great. Am going to do trial run with some smaller bottles and then will buy some bigger bottles. Have you made lots of flavoured vodka?

TooWetToWoo · 09/11/2013 19:59

Vaguely remember seeing something about wooden letters, I've found these probably not relevant but I think they're cute

wooden letter train the train is £2.95 then each letter is 99p with free delivery.

BarfaStewart · 09/11/2013 20:03

I have a code for Charles Tyrwhitt going for £10 off (I think it's a one use only) online. It includes sale items. DH doesn't wear a shirt for work, so if anyone wants it, they are welcome.

IHeartKingThistle · 09/11/2013 20:03

Amazon just agreed to refund the difference on the secret safe diary, even though I've had it more than a week. The email said they're making an exception to their usual policy but I know others have had success with them too. Amazing customer service for a Saturday night! Shock Grin
