Just got a hudl for £52 using clubcard points and the £5 voucher. I'll buy the other one in a few weeks, so hoping for another discount voucher.

neddle · 31/10/2013 20:19

notso I got boys pjs in Sports Direct (Disney Planes) and Home Bargains (spiderman) yesterday.
They were for 5 and 8 year olds with plenty of other sizes.

Guitargirl · 31/10/2013 20:21

Anyone who is looking for Monster High things, the school is at 64.99 on Amazon at the moment which is very close to the lowest it's been. Still overpriced for a large bit of plastic IMO but there you go!

acsec · 31/10/2013 20:22

I was in Ikea today, looking at the mini festive goats and didn't buy one - now I'm :(

I was in Asda yesterday and they had Yankee Candles reduced - I didn't buy any as I didn't realise they were actual Yankee ones, but Asda's own version - doh!

L'Occitane Almond gift for £49 www.loccitane.co.uk/secretalmond then free almond shower gel with code INDULGE when you spend over £35.

acsec · 31/10/2013 20:25

You can get the free shower gel with the almond gift and it's free delivery at the moment!

Pachacuti · 31/10/2013 20:44

not so, could you get plain PJs in relevant sizes and add matching iron-on . Christmas motifs?

notso · 31/10/2013 20:48

Right am ordering the Ebay PJ's now keli
neddle will have a look for the three DS's but not sure I can persuade DD 13 to wear Planes PJ's Grin
There's a few cheap stocking fillers in the Jack Wills sale if anyone is buying for teens.

MollySJ · 31/10/2013 20:50

Notso Matalan have 2 pairs PJs for £10 and have loads of sizes from 18months to 10-11yrs. Lovely wincy cotton ones in good patterns

neddle · 31/10/2013 20:54

Any good ideas about football shirts?

DH wants to get ds1 8 a Tottenham shirt. He's looking at the 3rd kit, but that's only available at their shop. I can get quidco cashback through them though.
Is there anywhere cheaper than £35? Even if it's a different colour?

Ilikesweetpeas · 31/10/2013 21:18

janx used topcashback. Think it was 3.5% and it has tracked

GerrardWinstanley · 31/10/2013 21:20

I am stupidly happily about the make your own crackers set I got today in Asda - £3.50 to make 6 - includes snaps, jokes and hats so can now just find little gifts to put in. White and red and would fit in with the nordic or shabby chic themes. I am moving house at the end of November.Confused If I was sensible I'd leave all things Christmassy well alone for now Wink

Also free delivery for orders over £35 at tumbletots shop

Sigma · 31/10/2013 21:21

Can someone please repeat the elc deal?

nickdrakeslovechild · 31/10/2013 21:52

Sigma, its 20% off all prices in store and online including those already in the sale. Cant use any other deal like big birthday club etc. This is how eventhough I had finished all my shopping I have now got the tea trolly for £12 reduced from £30 and the spiral art for £4 reduced from £10 Damn you bargains you are so addictive.

newtonupontheheath · 31/10/2013 21:54

Oh yes, the matalan pjs are lovely. We always have loads of them here.

Someone's missing a trick not doing matching pjs for the whole family notso!Grin

notso · 31/10/2013 21:57

Ooh glad to hear those crackers ate on sale now Gerrard I saw them in the catalogue a while back. I think as we've got no guests this Christmas Day and I don't have to be as poncetastic as usual we will do a secret Santa with the crackers and buy something silly for Poundland.

notso · 31/10/2013 21:59

Yes your right Newton, maybe I'll set up a business!
Thanks to others for your suggestions too.

zipzap · 31/10/2013 22:03

Hmmm. Looking at money.co.uk to see if there were any deals on there. And there's an offer from a couple of months ago, from David Sanderson - who are the people doing the give away of the free bird scarf for Sainsburys - and surprise surprise, they are doing a free giveaway of a bird scarf themselves for just the cost of postage.

Except their bird scarf was for a rrp of £9.99 not £14.99!!! Shock

The offer page isn't there anymore but sounds like they have bumped the price up by a fiver to make the offer sound better. very cheeky of them!

Rosvita · 31/10/2013 22:05

Apologies if already posted but I just picked up a £15 itunes voucher for £12 from Boots. No signs to indicate it was reduced but think I saw it on mse or similar which is was made me go to Boots in the 1st place.think there is a discount in other multiples and think until 17th November.was funny when I just hands the voucher to the cashier and said 'can you just price check this for me as it should be £12' and she didn't have a clue about them being discounted!

Picturesinthefirelight · 31/10/2013 22:08

There us a 40% off Body Shop code including saleitems valid until 12 noon on Monday 4th Nov

It's 14664

Ilikesweetpeas · 31/10/2013 22:12

Has anyone seen build a bears in Home bargain? Think they are a kit from the way they were described to me. I wondered how big they were and how much they cost? If anyone has seen them I'd be grateful for any information as I would like a few to add to pressies and can get to a Home bargain but it's a bit of a journey. Thanks!

zipzap · 31/10/2013 22:16

These fruit and veg memo pads are sweet for stocking fillers or work for adults too. Most seem to be 99p-£1.09.

They're a bit different as the pages are like a slice of the fruit inside - they provide a paper clip and when you clip front and back pages together they spread out and look like an actual fruit but made from paper slices.

They also have christmas tree notepads that stand up and look like little christmas trees. Ditto cupcakes although they are a little more expensive.

I've given the apples notepads to teachers before as a little present which have been well received. Although I reckon the pictures might have been taken with two notebooks clipped together rather than one, not sure they were quite as full as the ones in the picture! Still a reasonable present though.

There are loads of suppliers on ebay - this is a list of them sorted by price, some sell lots of different designs from one page, others separate out the listings.

There are also money notebooks and ones like iphones

98percentchocolate · 31/10/2013 22:21

Neddle - to answer your question about the bus - I wouldn't risk it to be honest. Whilst they are very good about exchanging online items with the delivery note, if it says it's out of stock online then

98percentchocolate · 31/10/2013 22:22

Oops posted too soon.
...then 99% of the time it is out of stock in store too.

Pogosticks · 31/10/2013 22:27

The Hut has some stuff for 50% off - its on their website but I can't link it.

IsaJess · 31/10/2013 22:44
