18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

MooseyMoo · 28/10/2013 20:23

Arthur Christmas for £5 at Sainsburys - back in stock now

zipzap · 28/10/2013 20:28

My Sainsburys had some of the big toys that they'd got in stock but still got piles of down to 70% off - a mamas and papas rocking horse, a disney princess dressing table, and a few more bits. Not everything big though - although there might be scope for more stuff to go down further tomorrow so might be worth checking if you are close to a sainsburys that had plenty of stuff still in!

MooseyMoo · 28/10/2013 20:40

And it's 25% off tu clothing tomorrow

Rosvita · 28/10/2013 20:40

Thank rhonda for link to touch-screen gloves- going to order 2 pairs for my cousins.
In relation to tesco I have already managed to spend my £28 worth of vouchers -
£18 on family tickets to christmas at longleat (going for dd's birthday at end of November so only had to pay extra for Santa train and ice skating)
£10 doubled up to £20 on skylanders swapforce figures (funnily enough tesco seem to be counting skylanders as 'toys' but disney infinity characters as 'computer games/accessories' and therefore infinity characters do not appear to be in the exchange). Anyway I had £5 off a £20 spend too so got a double pack of swappable figures and then a regular swapforce skylander for the grand total of £5 rather than £30.
Will probably keep these towards Ds' birthday though as already have enough Xmas prezzies for him i love skylanders games and collecting all the damn things,I must be a marketer's dream

IHeartKingThistle · 28/10/2013 20:52

Brilliant thanks Moosey - been looking for a good price on that!

Coveredinweetabix · 28/10/2013 21:15

Girl - many of the dept stores (definitely JL) do biggish teddy bears with the year on the foot. DD was 8 weeks on Xmas Day and she and her bear were a similar size. I then got DS one a couple of years later with his birth year on. I really like them as they are similar but easily distinguishable.

direct.asda.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-2-%287.0%29-WiFi---tablet---Android-4.0---8-GB---7%22/000553406,default,pd.html

Samsung galaxy 2 for £99..... Can't decide between this or a hudl for a 5 yr old who wants "my very own IPad"

Anyone??

BloodysocksAndGore · 28/10/2013 21:31

Thank you for the kiddicare tip, just got dd a car seat (not a Christmas present) and a click clack thing and a highchair toy for less than the price of the car seat on its own! And that's me done buying presents for everyone now apart from the money towards dh's computer. Flowers to everyone, 80% of my purchases have come from links and ideas from these threads.

Somersaults · 28/10/2013 21:38

Thanks for the GLTC codes, I will pass them onto my mum.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/10/2013 21:41

PigtailsAndPlaits · 28/10/2013 21:44

I need your help guys, Secret santa present for a lady 21 years old must be red and start with the letter g! Under £10 please

Unexpected · 28/10/2013 21:50

My long-awaited Murad set also came today. Does anyone else feel it is a complete swizz? It is a 50ml cleanser and three samples (could hardly even be called travel sizes). I can't believe that it's supposed to be worth £45. Oh well, will make the cancelling of the subscription guilt-free!

lilylaville · 28/10/2013 21:51

A red Gemstone something or other?

Pachacuti · 28/10/2013 21:57

Garnet bracelet?

ValiumQueen · 28/10/2013 21:58

I got the Murad set today. Is that the body shop stuff? I too feel cheated. Not worth £45. Not gift worthy.

Went to Sainsburys and no Playmobil at all. Got some with my Tesco vouchers though, so I am happy.

Pachacuti · 28/10/2013 21:59

Or Garnet earrings?

keli5325 · 28/10/2013 22:01

I also had my Murad set today and yeah i agree a big disappointment :-(

Never mind all my other whizzy bargains make up for it x

PoopPoooDeDooo · 28/10/2013 22:05

keli5325 · 28/10/2013 22:09

Theimpossiblegirl · 28/10/2013 22:09

Good find, Passthecake.

I was going to get 2 hudls but am now toying with the Samsung myself.

Anyone that knows their tablets willing to advise?

Pogosticks · 28/10/2013 22:14
