18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

I just found this review on the galaxy 2 tablet - it seems to get very good reviews www.phonesreview.co.uk/2013/10/28/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-now-available-at-bargain-price/

PoopPoooDeDooo · 28/10/2013 22:18

Thanks Keli Smile
Just bought DS a BMX reduced by 25% from £110 to £82.50 then doubled up so only cost £1.50 cash Grin

keli5325 · 28/10/2013 22:22

That's amazing poop - i found tesco vouchers i didn't know i had earlier and bought the Thomas train set which was posted a few days ago, a bike helmet and the dinosaur stamp set all which were featured on this thread at some time and they were all free..... bonus :-) :-)

The balance bike i bought a month or so ago was also featured here - it was £80 reduced to £40 and i found a 40% off voucher so a £80 bike for £40 - oh i love this thread

Passthecake30 · 28/10/2013 22:26

Thanks Keli...still deciding!

notso · 28/10/2013 22:29

yellowsun · 28/10/2013 22:30

My gift of Murad is very battered too. Was going to give it with a few more bits for SIL but it looks shit so will have to keep it.

Pachacuti · 28/10/2013 22:42

If you're looking for a cheap tablet, I'd be tempted to consider this one that supermariossister linked to on a previous instance of this thread.

BeaWheesht · 28/10/2013 22:59

BeaWheesht · 28/10/2013 23:02

Snowgirl1 · 28/10/2013 23:06

Wasn't someone after some stamping kits? They've got a couple of Melissa & Doug ones in the Ocado 3 for 2 offer

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/10/2013 23:11

I've just used the code AC879 to get 15% off and free delivery on The White Company website. No minium order required.

NoBloodyMore · 28/10/2013 23:18

Can anyone recommend a really good baking book? More cakes instead of cupcakes?

I'm going to do a hamper for my best friend we don't usually buy each other but her husband left her 6 months ago so I want to get lots of bits to cheer her up, she has her own baking business, no DC and is very girly. So I'm looking for inspiration.

NoBloodyMore · 28/10/2013 23:22

Oh and I had £10 of clubcard vouchers I wasn't expecting as I'd used some to buy pyjamas a few months ago. So I doubled up and got a zhu zhu pet play set, orchard game, tatty teddy small bear & 2 schleich figures for nothing! So I'm really pleased as DD had less than the 2 boys so it bumps hers up a bit.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 29/10/2013 00:18

Weren't the Goats red? (Embarrassed by extreme ignorance of important Christmas thread goats) Grin

Pumpkintopf · 29/10/2013 00:29

Angelabby I'm not near Bromley, would you be willing to post your stock?

MooseyMoo · 29/10/2013 06:14

Molton Brown have free delivery today until 7pm with DELIVERY12 unfortunately you cannot use more than one code

AmberNectarine · 29/10/2013 06:20

I know you've all done the Sainsbos you sale but I went in to do a shop yesterday (having blitzed the toys on day 1 last week) and DD (2.3) clocked a 'sew real' cuddly toy cat which set me back a whole £1.49. She is thrilled to bits with her 'kitty' and I thought it might make a nice little stocking filler for any others with small girls

shelley72 · 29/10/2013 06:31

Can I just ask, someone mentioned upthread that they had used their tesco vouchers for longleat? I thought I had read somewhere that they couldn't be used for Christmas, but that's obviously wrong?

We were thinking of taking the children to either peppa pig world or longleat for something Christmassy but it's just working out too expensive Sad so this may work for us.

On another note, free delivery at Molton Brown until 7pm use code DELIVERY12

shelley72 · 29/10/2013 06:31

Oops x post !

notso · 29/10/2013 06:57

NoBloodyMore Delia's cakes is still £5 on Amazon, I don't have it yet but all of her cake recipes I have used in the past have worked very well.

Really annoying that Molton Brown won't accept two codes the delivery makes the £10 off £20 hardly worth having.

Barbeasty · 29/10/2013 07:29

DH has a tab 2 and it's pretty good, although I haven't really used any other tablet to compare.

One big advantage is that if you have an android phone you can have apps on both devices. It's also basically the same to use as Samsung phones, so very easy especially if you're used to those.

It's good for watching programmes (DD likes to watch room on the broom on it).

LaTrucha · 29/10/2013 07:57

My 5yo uses my Samsung Galaxy and finds it easy. I don't think we get the most out iof it though. I can recommend Slim Cricket free apps.

LaTrucha · 29/10/2013 08:00

Quido has 12% cashback on homeware. There's 6% on other stuff and a £10 giftcard if you spend £50.

Oreocrumbs · 29/10/2013 08:11

Something dreadful happened. I had no internet yesterday Shock.

It was tough!!

Off RL shopping today to see some nice things and then come home and look for codes.

Thanks for the highchair link, I wanted to get one for DD but was reluctant to spend any more money on her, I managed to let £6 slip through the budget though.
