18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

Grin at all the comments about DSIS! She currently has a Cliff calendar Bea it's an in-joke between her and her uni friends. She is 7 months pg so am blaming her bluntness on that. I'm tempted to get T-Shirts done for the DC saying Love you Auntie and have a calendar done of that to make her feel guilty!

For male stocking fillers under a fiver, how about a USB flash drive - somewhere like play.com or 7dayshop.com have them starting under a fiver - play had some that were in the shape of a Christmas tree if you want a tacky Christmas themed one. Play also has some quite nice men's tshirts for under a fiver - just go to the men's Tshirt section and sort by price low to high. They've added a load of cheap plain tshirts so yo might have to get 5 or 6 pages in but around the fiver mark the had some with like an old style space invader, a camper van or evolution of a robot pictures.

Seven day shop also often has some great gadget things - it's worth looking through their gadget section and clearance section.

Another thing to do is get a toy car of something that would be his dream car. Then also add a bottle of baby bio and modify the label to make it applicable to cars too. (dh has always wants a camper van and this is the only way I've managed to get him one and if he complains it's not a real one I just point out he obviously didn't grow it right! Grin.

Also 25% off and free delivery from Dorothy Perkins using code DPTREAT25

Works on sale items, some nice jewellery which would work out very cheap.

Sorry to be a pain but I can't find the Bear Grylls book deal (despite looking for ages!) - does anyone know what it was? Was it £10 from Amazon?

Cupcake11 · 27/10/2013 13:35

Thisismenow, I'm not sure - that's the one I could find too. I know someone mentioned a deal up thread but I can't remember what it was. That half price one is pretty good but don't want to order it if there was a better deal somewhere Thanks

IHeartKingThistle · 27/10/2013 13:58

Anyone seen children's personalised aprons anywhere that don't cost loads?

whoneedstosleep · 27/10/2013 14:11

Trying to fine the £15 off £25 isme code. Has anyone used it recently?

LaTrucha · 27/10/2013 14:14

I can recommend this curry book. I have seen it int he works fro 2.99. It's on their website for more than that bu tI think you'd get it cheaper in store.

kiwidreamer · 27/10/2013 14:29

Coveredinweetabix on the A33 there is a lovely new TK Maxx which is a million times better than the one in the Broad Street Manky Mall, next door to that is the new Smyths toy store. Once you are done there, back in the car down the A33 stick to the left hand side, when you see the BP petrol station you want to head towards that and turn left directly after it, that will take you into the Home Bargains / Matalan car park. And once you are done there you can easily get to the Oracle car park and carry on your shopping. There is B&M store too but its on the Oxford Road and I cant be held responsible for directions to there!!!!

Posted on MSE was these Skylander soft toys that look like they make noises by remote control

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009SG2NM0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not sure about £35 price tag but for £6 it looks pretty cool for my five yr old DS :)

babysantadue · 27/10/2013 14:37

Zhu zhu puppies value pack - assortment is reduced to £7.50 in tesco direct. Sorry can't link. It looks like a good pack.

SarahPercyAndBill · 27/10/2013 14:43

For those who like to capture all those magical moments and print them out at home, poundland had Polaroid premulium gloss photo paper in a variety of sizes. The 5x7 has 40 sheets, the 6x4 size has 50 sheets. For a pound :-)

SarahPercyAndBill · 27/10/2013 14:48

Also Wilcos had lovely looking scandi design wrapping paper (red & silver elks in white background) 2 for £3 with coordinating 3 meter ribbons& 1 fabric bow for £1. They also had lots of paint it yourself/ sew it yourself type of crafts for £1-3.

I picked up 3 assorted size canvases for £4. Kids will make some artwork for their grandparents' Xmas gift.
