18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

Cupcake I've searched the thread an there was no link just a description about him being on radio promoting it and it was a collection of stories so I'm guessing that's the one?! Confused sorry cant be more help but that ones gone in my basket Grin

Pachacuti · 27/10/2013 15:09

It's the one ThisIsMeNow linked to -- ChocolateTeabag suggested that the supermarkets would probably have it for less than £10 before Christmas.

Mercythompson · 27/10/2013 15:39

Thanks notso I guess I was hoping for a 50% off voucher for somewhere Blush. But those do look great.

acsec · 27/10/2013 15:42

Cupcake it was the True Grit Bear Grylls book on amazon for £10. It probably will be cheaper in the supermarket before Xmas but I hate the supermarkets when they are rammed with people.

easylife73 · 27/10/2013 15:55

Hi, I've had a few great bargains from these threads (including my blazer & overnight bag) and just wondered if anyone had a good deal on an annoying monster...ToysRUs are doing them fro £7.49 but not available to buy online and our nearest store only has pink ones left, and I need them for boys.

Somersaults · 27/10/2013 16:07

I'm looking for a fab deal on the Alex Ferguson books if anyone spots one anywhere!

ThisIsMeNow · 27/10/2013 16:15

Somer this is the cheapest I can find it

JaquelineHyde · 27/10/2013 16:17

Disneyaddict88 AIBU = Am I Being Unreasonable, it is a chat topic on here. You should only ever post on there if you are thick skinned and prepared to be told YABU (You are being unreasonable).

Cupcake11 · 27/10/2013 16:19

Thank you Arcsec - I thought that was it!

Cupcake11 · 27/10/2013 16:20

And thisismenow!

GlaikitFizZombieFodder · 27/10/2013 16:23

Oh thank thisismenow! Dh has asked for that!

ClaimedByMe · 27/10/2013 16:32

Still haven't managed to actually buy anything although I did log into my topcashback account thingy, I must have set it up years ago and not used it and when I tried to link through to argos to buy shite things for dd it didn't work just opened a blank page, where am I going wrong?

Somersaults · 27/10/2013 16:43

Thank you Thisisme! I've just purchased for FIL. Wonderful, another present ticked off the list.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 27/10/2013 16:55

Just catching up. The silver cross dolls ranger pram is down to £26.66 on amazon. Not its lowest but I'm scared it'll go up so I've bought one!

notso · 27/10/2013 17:03

Well just walked across town to Tesco to buy the Baileys and they didn't bloody price match it! I have no idea why and I had to fib and tell DH they did so as not to look a complete bargain Baileys desperado!
Am now looking at an extremely unbargainous bottle of Baileys!

LalyRawr · 27/10/2013 17:19

notso did you have more than ten items?

They won't price match on a single item

notso · 27/10/2013 17:28

Yes, I did get a price match voucher but it was for £2.42. I know the Morrisons offer was still on today as SIL's MIL works in Morrisons.

LalyRawr · 27/10/2013 17:30

I think maybe you did get it then, but other items were cheaper in Tesco so cancelled it out?

Like £3 for the baileys, but the apples you bought were 30p cheaper, so the voucher is £2.70 if that makes sense?

notso · 27/10/2013 17:30

Free £5 box of craft stuff from toucanBox for O2 customers with priority moments. Haven't got a clue what's in it but it's free so I've just signed up for one!

LalyRawr can you hear me over the sound of the penny dropping!!
Just checked on Tesco website and you're right, DH put some tea bags in and I didn't realise they were on offer in £2.15 in Tesco £4.30 in Morrisons and the butter was a pound cheaper in Tescos too. Well I guess I did save in the end just not in the way I expected!
Thanks Blush

LalyRawr · 27/10/2013 17:51

Haha, no worries.

At least you didn't call Tesco demanding to know why they had robbed you of the £4 you were due back and had them explain what I just explained above.

Not that I did clearly. You know, just saying. Blush

ValiumQueen · 27/10/2013 17:56

Izzy your DD is going to have an awesome Christmas!

Sphul · 27/10/2013 17:57

Just bought the play doh suitcase - yeh like as if dd needs anymore after all my bargainous items already squirrelled away!!! If anyone knows of any cheap play doh sets like the doc drill or ice cream factory type stuff, would really appreciate a link! Really just buying for my own pleasure now Blush

notso · 27/10/2013 18:02

Wink Laly at least I can drink it now!
