18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

Yesterday I saw our bargain furby in Tesco for £60! DD1 ran over to it and hugged it. She has never even mentioned a furby before as she said she knew it would be too expensive. Bless her.

Hello! Can anyone recommend decent play kitchen pans and food? My parents are buying dc an ikea kitchen for Christmas and I want to get rid of the tat I currently have (plastic flimsy pan set from Poundland for example!) and get some nice bits to go with it and the rest of the pile of stuff they have from this thread and the recent NCT sale!

BushmillsandIce · 27/10/2013 06:56

LalaDipsey ikea do nice metal pans and utensils, or asda have a half prive wooden set at the moment.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 27/10/2013 06:58

Any one got any good ideas for a man stocking gifts for under £5?

I've got this key finder for £2.69 and these touch scream gloves for £1.99 but I have no idea what else to put in his stocking!

BushmillsandIce · 27/10/2013 07:04

Oops, strange double post Blush

MooseyMoo · 27/10/2013 07:10

Cebeebies How about this multi function penknife for £2·25.All men have an inner boy scout in them, don't they Wink Draped is a good make in tools, so it should be decent quality.

VoldemortsNipple · 27/10/2013 07:31

Draper is a good make in tools.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 27/10/2013 07:37

Matalan tights are lovely- really soft. None really last IMO (ditto leggings) so I never buy posh ones. (M and S and JL in the sales are as high as I will go for basics)

Valium- aw, that's lovely about the Furby.

supermariossister · 27/10/2013 07:39

I need bulking out presents for 6yo ds and 9yo ss. got the main presents now but want things 15 and under toys, books, clothes just not stuff ill send to the next school fairGrin sd seems to have lots of small presents but the boys I am struggling

MooseyMoo · 27/10/2013 07:53

Should add the Gap discount is only for today. Just bought this jumper for DD and this jumper for DS

ValiumQueen · 27/10/2013 07:56

Boys, like men, are harder to buy for.

I agreed with DD that Furbies were far too expensive, so I am guaranteed a thrilled little girl on Christmas morning. No doubt it will drive me potty by the end of the day.

Aw Valium that is so lovely. My DC really want a phone so they can play games on them. They know that they are too young for such an expensive grown up present.

Little do they know that thanks to isme, and mil, they will each be getting a tablet from us and mil on Boxing Day... Can't wait to see their reaction!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 27/10/2013 08:06

On holiday so why am I still checking this thread???

Coveredinweetabix · 27/10/2013 08:09

What age range are squinkies for? Is a 4yo too young? I've realised three of DD's friends turn four in Jan and will need presents.
