18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

How do people find the cheap books on amazon?

InTheRedCorner · 26/10/2013 21:57

Pups that one click thing is the devils work! Cherry is on her way...

armani · 26/10/2013 21:59

I know my dds have been begging for it for ages! I shouldnt really have bought them as they have loads for christmas but for that price I couldn't resist!

LoreleisSecret · 26/10/2013 22:16

I went real shopping today (it was awful) and I was itching to get home to check out all the bargains I've missed since I have been out.
Quick browse and I've bought the Happyland train set, an easel pack (to go with the discounted easel I bought last week) playdough suitcase all with 20% off and the George Pig book for DS2s Xmas eve hamper.

LottieDidIt · 26/10/2013 23:13

Cherry the Cat it £18 at Tesco Direct too....I'm desperately trying to resist getting one for DD she doesn't need anymore for Christmas and my credit card won't thank me for it!

RhondaJean · 26/10/2013 23:16

Omg I have been Real Life Shopping all day, starting with a craft fair and ending at a candle party. I'm skint hungry and exhausted. I do have some lovely things though.

Anyway I am having a moral dilemma.

I have £45 clubcard vouchers and nothing to do with them. Mil also works in tesco so if I gave her them, doubled up and with her discount, she could get me a hudl for dd2 for £18.

She hasn't asked for a tablet. I think she would use it loads though. She is 9. I have bought her a lot. I COULD keep the vouchers for next year.

Whats the concensus?

SarahPercyAndBill · 26/10/2013 23:19

If anyone doesn't have a tk maxx neaby, they do now have some toys and books online.

I don't know anything about these microscooters but this mx pro is 70, rrp 170, for example.

neddle · 26/10/2013 23:19

Rhonda it would be a great gift for not a lot of outlay. What about dd1 and any others you may have? Does she already have a tablet and would it cause problems?
I think I'd be tempted at that price.

grew · 26/10/2013 23:23

Rhonda perhaps you could buy it and save it for her birthday, sounds like like a great deal.

Can anyone recommend a hair styling head for my niece she's 3 and loves dressing up and making up her dolls

Littlemousewithcloggson · 26/10/2013 23:29

Rhonda it's a great deal if you do that.
We use all our tesco vouchers for days out or weekends away as they change into 4 times the amount that way. Done longleat, legoland, chessington etc for free. Also used them for magazine subscriptions in the past.

Grew- there is a styling head for £6.50 half price in Sainsburys at present. Also the gabriella dolls linked here yesterday can have their hair styled and coloured (still 5.99 if you click on other buying options and are happy to wait until back in stock)

DreamlessSleep · 26/10/2013 23:30

There is a £10 rapunzel styling head in tesco at the mo that was £15. It seems good. (Bought one for dd but obv isnt opened) smaller than the ones I used to have though but pretty and nice hair accessories with it.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 26/10/2013 23:31

And mamas and papas pliko toy pram for ages 4-8 is down to £18 on amazon.

BeaWheesht · 26/10/2013 23:39

rhonda get her the hudl :)

Not a Christmas request but I need tights for dd in size 5-6. I want them as cheap as possible because she wrecks them in days as she climbs / runs / scoots everywhere. Any tips?

Littlemousewithcloggson · 26/10/2013 23:41

Bea- Asda tights are great.

RhondaJean · 26/10/2013 23:41

Dd1 is 14 and has an iPad, she won't be bothered. I wouldn't buy dd2 an iPad at 9. She does use mine a lot though.

Her birthday is September unfortunately and it seems a long time to wait.

In the past we always used them in goldsmiths but there's nothing we want or need from there.

fromunsureofswansea · 26/10/2013 23:41

Primark bea £2.50 for 3 pairs...maybe even £2 actually

RhondaJean · 26/10/2013 23:42

Bea supermarket tights are the cheapest and last as well as any others I've bought.

IHeartKingThistle · 27/10/2013 00:01
