For a limited time M&S are doing free delivery to USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

If anyone has friends and family to ship presents to, this might save a few pounds.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it but the IKEA Duktig toy kitchen is reduced to £45 for the base unit and £20 for the top bit, rather than £66 and £24.

My character pjs arrived this morning and they are great.

In fact because it is windy, wet and cold here today I have declared a pyjama day and have given the DCs their new pj's and they are wearing them already!

They love them, I will be ordering more for Christmas asap.

Booo hiss. Just a heads up everyone that apparently Amazon are scrapping free super saver delivery on items under £10 (unless you buy something media related like a CD, DVD or a game).

So presumably, in future, we should try to bundle Amazon small purchases together with a media item included, so that the package can qualify for free delivery.

I pay for Amazon prime, I was sceptical at first when I signed up for a free trial but now 3 years later it saves me a fortune as I buy loads on Amazon.

Report
Reastie · 30/07/2013 12:05

I have amazon prime too but I've noticed recently they term alot of things as 'add on items' meaning I have to have a minimum purchase of £20 to get them delivered. This hasn't seemed to be every item, but an increasing number of smaller items, so prime isn't everything.

Just found this bargain on the argos website. Haven't seen it linked to on here yet and my DCs have been asking for them. I've managed to reserve 2 locally to me but at different stores so stock is low by the looks of it.

I have just come back from visiting my nearest Home Bargain store and for under £8 I think I have everything for my eldest stocking!!! No tat either. Will worth a visit if you are near one.

Someone up thread mentioned they did little Christmas style things that you can put in advent calendars. Could you let us know when you spot them. My Home Store is a car journey away and I don't always go to that area of town.
