Thanks for the character.com link. I've ordered several PJs. My DD is going to be very happy Grin

My Aldi had busy books too. No branded ones. Picked up the racers one for DD. The mat looks great.

Going to check out that app.

FrantasticO · 28/07/2013 18:10

Thanks ragbag!

Bag ordered and through quidco too, great tip.

Must stop buying!

However any ideas for adult male, cycling hobby, has the mags already?

urbanturban · 28/07/2013 19:13

Ratbagcatbag thanks so much for the Radley link, just spent £53.50 on 4 items, free delivery and the extra 10% off too - such a bargain! Flowers

Loving this thread, much appreciated!

craftynclothy · 28/07/2013 19:22

Gah, thought I was pretty much sorted but got an email from M&S to say 5 of the things I ordered are out of stock. So will now have to look for some bits to replace the 3 things that were presents.

Rhinopotamus · 28/07/2013 19:45

I had the same problem crafty. They must have a rubbish system for knowing what is. In stock. Ny delivery was also delayed by a day. Not impressed!

ratbagcatbag · 28/07/2013 20:56

No worries, I feel useful on here finally :) I normally steal all the fab deals but not spot many.

Mind you was gutted today, went into radley shop where the discount them, and fell in love with a bag, but it had got little marks on it, like someone had splashed something on it. It was already reduced from £179 to £124 and they offered me another £4 off, but all said and done £120 for a bag that's not perfect was too much money. :(

ratbagcatbag · 28/07/2013 20:57

Urban did you use quidco too? If not signed up can I PM you and recommend you? If you then use it I get £2.50. :)

Playmobil school purchasers read this! One of the many friends I told about the bargainous school gave it to her niece yesterday. The dad started building it there and then and, about 90 mins later, had done the shell of it. This dad is pretty good at this sort of thing - quite a practical mind, has an older son obsessed by lego so is used to building things and doesn't faff. Altogether there are, apparently, 491 pieces!!! The friend and I have both bought the school to give to our respective DDs for Xmas so are planning a Friday night building session in December. We're thinking if we do it together and have Wine is might be a more pleasant experience!

For those who have bought the character com PJs - what sort of quality are they? Are they going to be comfy or is DD likely to self ignite?

urbanturban · 28/07/2013 21:09

ratbag no I don't use quidco - a pm would be great as I have two DC with birthdays before Christmas, as well as all the Christmas pressies to buy for!

OpheliaBumps · 28/07/2013 21:21

I've just been looking for gifts for the nursery staff, my twins leave there after 3 years of lovely care from the staff.

The Body Shop have 2 offers, £10 off if you spend £25, or £25 off if you spend £50. I split my order into 2 batches and got £100 of goodies for all of the staff for just £50 - bargain!

The offer expires at midday tomorrow.

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 21:29

I have just bought 7 pairs of PJs and two bags from the character link so thank you Smile also hoping they are ok quality. I have seen some of them in the shops for much much more, and have found them to be good quality.

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 21:31

And the fisher price iPad cover is great! I do feel a bit silly using it though on the rare occasions I get near it Grin

HenriettaPye · 28/07/2013 22:24

DVDs on offer at the works. £2.99 or 2 for £5.
Harry and his bucketful of dinosaurs is included in this, and it's actually a 2 DVD boxset. Others are all one disc, but some good ones such as hello kitty and horrid Henry.

LifeIsSoDifferent · 28/07/2013 22:30

I'm sure i read that someone was looking for a craft kit, just saw this on amazon

£8.99

I love the fisher price ipad cover, DD dropped it today and all was fine thankfully

craigslittleangel · 28/07/2013 22:45

Missed out on the Cassino Royal dvd and the Chracter.co shop does not have the pj's in daughters size!!!

Note to self, must check in on this thread during the weekend. Sunday lunch be dammed!

RobinBedRest · 28/07/2013 22:46

There are some pillow pets in that Amazon sale for £12, is that a good price for them I seem to remember them being popular last year. My DC will be 2 and 5 so might like them?

HenriettaPye · 28/07/2013 22:58

Pillow pets in £stretcher for 3.99

olivo · 29/07/2013 07:16

Is h and m always so slow? 10 days after ordering I got an email to say they were packing my order, but, of course, some was out of stock by then!

Loving this thread , by the way, thanks to everyone!

MooseyMoo · 29/07/2013 07:17

Disney Princess Magic Clip Mini Doll reduced to £2.99

These look good for stocking or present box

Oreocrumbs · 29/07/2013 07:38

They are good Moosey, DD has a few I bought them to take on holiday. They are all quite robust too.

They are very popular with her little friends too. Usually £5 minimum each, so that's a great price.

Chockywockydoodah · 29/07/2013 08:31

Moosey I agree with Oreo, the clip it dolls are great, my DD has the Minnie Mouse set and loved it!

Olivio H&M are notoriously slow, I waited a month for my order which was held up at the Swedish depot (and they use MyHermes which, in my opinion, spells out the word 'DELAY' immediately (along with unreliable YODEL)!

MooseyMoo · 29/07/2013 08:32

Good to know oreo I've ordered 2 for DD to take on holiday. Should keep her amused whilst DS has afternoon nap Smile

MooseyMoo · 29/07/2013 09:27

This isn't a bargain but DD has requested Little Mermaid on DVD and discovered its being re-released on 2nd September. I've added it to my Amazon wish list.
