Huge thanks to CURLYGIRL I too have ordered the playmobil school not sure for who or when but too good to miss, sooo delighted. Around this time last year i bought the elc fireman's house with 70% off (also from this thread) and it is for my 2.5 year old this christmas.Loving that the thread is back!

the school was definitely around this price near xmas last year too. it's mostly sold by argos and, i think, amazon.

Picked up my school this morning - its huge!

Warning - Playmobil takes hours to build, do not think you're going to whip it together on Christmas Eve.

But it is fab - dd has only just decided Playmobil is too young (she is 11) and she still sneaks in and plays with my playmobil victorian dollshouse (which is mine all mine and not a toy oh no).

indeed bertha! I spent Christmas eve last year doing the sodding ship and school. I burst into frustrated tears at 2am and called in my dad to help me get them done

Just picked up the huge school (DD in tow) and managed to keep it hidden from her in a large ikea bag (with the help of the kind Argos man)! Very happy with it!

It's out of stock at my 10 nearest stores whoneedstosleep, I have reserved the school for my our God daughter though.

I've also picked up the school. Thanks Curly. Thanks Bertha for the warning on how long it takes to build. We discovered last Xmas Eve that DP views "construction of presents" as my task & I very much viewed it as his. Luckily my brother was bored and drunk.
The lady in Argos said that this must be part of a big pre- new catalogue clearance & to keep an eye on the website as more things are likely to be added.
I'm tempted to set up a HotUKDeals alert on Playmibil but worry I will be powerless to resist more bargains. Dd isn't 4 yet & DS only just 1 so there are plenty of Xmases & birthdays to go.

We have managed to find a Playmobil school in Winchester - is out of stock in the 10 stores nearest us. DP can go get it after work (bus and train and then return journey to boat to get home). DDs are 6 and 4 and will be 7 and 5 at Christmas. We don't have any playmobil stuff so - is it worth him making the journey?

Have reserved a school! Only one in stock is an hour away and not sure i will be able to get there within 2 days

Dysgu if its going to be a real hassle I would debate if its worth it? There's ages til Xmas bound to be more sales before then!

Ooh lovely, another present in hand, I've bought the polar express.

I've missed a couple of good bargains today. Amazon dropped the innotab to £42 and a ceramic gruffalo dinner set to £7.50.

I was alerted by camelcamel but I was sunbathing and didn't act on it, and when I've come to buy them now they have shot up in price. The moral of the story is, if you are using camel and get an alert, buy it then!

Also if you are on O2, you can get O2 priorities app, that gives you discounts online and instore. I got £20 off a £200 spend in pc world the other day, and it searches for stores near you and tells you if they have any deals on. They have free chocolate from WH Smith at the minute too!

So a handy little app if you can get it.
