DD has the paper jamz thing - she loves it - not sure our ears love it quite so much...

LaTrucha · 07/07/2013 14:17

Thanks for the paper jamz feedback. I don't seem to be able to make the 15% off code work with it. Anyone had any luck with it ?

LaTrucha · 07/07/2013 14:17

p.s. Boden sale now on.

Umlauf · 07/07/2013 15:33

Joules has an OK sale, very pretty umbrellas half price (now a tenner) with 1 pound delivery.

sameoldIggi · 07/07/2013 15:49

How do you all know what they will (ahem) ask Santa for? My ds (almost 6)'s tastes change so much. I could make a very expensive mistake.

Reastie · 07/07/2013 16:06

My DD is 2 same so I can twist and control things easier than when she gets older I think!

Guess!

There are loads of offers that come on nearer to Christmas, so no need to start now unless you want to. DD stays pretty consistent. She has been asking for a microphone for about two years. She also wants a V tech electronic diary, which I know she will want then. DS wants a forestry tractor from Bruder but I know it won't come down much in price, so I won't buy it yet just in case he changes his mind.

PrincessWellington · 07/07/2013 16:28

I'm always asked in December what dcs want so if there is something specific its covered like this.

PrincessWellington · 07/07/2013 16:31

Car boot finds today were Enid blyton book, joke set and wicked queen from Snow White. All new. Am wondering how much I can do via car boot this year?!? Already got a David Walliams book and several Shirley Hughes books.

Picked up enormous school and bunny and craft pack from Argos today. Grin Thanks so much!

MooseyMoo · 08/07/2013 14:05

John Deere ride on tractor £64 (normally £139)

Would love to get this for DS 2nd birthday but we don't really have room

PoppyWearer · 08/07/2013 14:31

I picked up the Playmobil school today and it's huge! ThanksThanks

The lady serving me at Argos couldn't believe the price either.

(I might actually put it aside for DS' next birthday as I think DH might get huffy about another big plastic toy this year. But still, that is his birthday sorted!)

Reastie · 08/07/2013 15:16

Another person picked up the playmobil school today and very pleased although the box was rather battered ( Angry to argos). Very good value. I'm thinking of putting it aside for DDs 4th birthday - is that the right kind of age for playmobil or is it better before then?

OP posts:
LaTrucha · 08/07/2013 15:38

I got one too. Very dusty but otherwise looks great. Thankyou. I think 4 would be fine Reastie.

Chockywockydoodah · 08/07/2013 16:26

I'm picking up my Playmobil school tomorrow (visiting Argos without a nosey DD in tow)!

Reastie I think Im thinking the same as you, keep it for DD's 4th bday. She loves her Happyland at the mo Grin

poppy my DH sounds same as yours, moaning about the amount of toys we have! We don't have half as many toys as some other children who's houses we have visited! Shock
