Morning all :)

I have a kindle in my basket, ready to go :o

Nice to see some Lego finally, but the sets aren't as good as last years by the looks of it :(

What will you have in your basket today?

Marne · 23/11/2012 18:08

Nothing else i want now until 8.14 (unless i give in and buy the trunki), my 8 year old still likes her Trunki, we use it to store toys in and to take on holiday.

Tortoise · 23/11/2012 18:10

I want kitchen scales but they would have to have over 50% off to be worth getting!

WhispersOfWickedness · 23/11/2012 18:12

FFS, i should have gone for the 700g jar :(

OP posts:
anklebitersmum · 23/11/2012 18:13

WhispersOfWickedness · 23/11/2012 18:16

OP posts:
mirpuppet · 23/11/2012 18:17

I gave up the jelly beans -- too much temptation in the new year.

ClaimedByMe · 23/11/2012 18:18

Im on that waitlist too Whisper!

I will probably forget at 7.15 for the game!

Marne · 23/11/2012 18:20

I was number 450 (ish) on a list yesterday and still got the item so you might still get them.

WhispersOfWickedness · 23/11/2012 18:21

thegreylady · 23/11/2012 18:34

I was so desperate to get the lego for dgs [which I did] that I missed the Brio which was on at the same time.Still it looks as though it is on again later :)

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 23/11/2012 18:38

DH got a laptop for DD2. V pleased.
I'm at work and missing bargains! Argh.

catsareeasier · 23/11/2012 18:45

So I take it Amazon's incredibly low UK tax payments are no longer an issue (for those of us based in the UK), as long as they throw us a bone of a few bargains - which skim-reading the above, seem only to be available if you devote your entire day dangling on a thread?

Doesn't anyone feel just the slightest bit grubby? There ARE other places to acquire these things you know. It's going to rain all day tomorrow, why not spend your time keeping dry in some actual local shops and save some real people's jobs? There are lots of bargains as they're desperate for business.

whatkungfuthat · 23/11/2012 18:50

Not grubby at all actually, they are a rather large employer of UK workers too so I can live with it.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 23/11/2012 18:52

We've had this discussion cat.

anklebitersmum · 23/11/2012 18:52

well as a SAHM in her pj's it's not like I've got anything better to do Grin Wink

mirpuppet · 23/11/2012 18:52

ncredibly low UK tax payments have never been an issue for me -- they have good tax advisors and they and othet multinationals were using the loopholes the government allowed them. It is up to teh government to claw back.

Real people work for Amazon -- like Royal Mail when you select 1st Class postage.

ImpYCelyn · 23/11/2012 18:55

Oh no - my fly boots are too big Sad I'm a size 8 everywhere, except fly boots apparently. I thought it was just cos of tights to start with, but I've put socks on and they're still too big.

I'm gutted. They are gorgeous in every way, even the smell.

I dread to think how much they'll cost to return Sad
