bakerross art and craft sale

This site has some lovely crafty things, I'm planning to do a beads and glass art box for under £30.

BuffyFairy · 23/10/2012 22:10

Folic my dd is 12m and loves the train set and pirate ship. She plays with them daily. We've gone a bit Happyland crazy for Xmas and got the village, bluebell boot, martian moon house, fantasy palace and sherwood castle Blush

Folicacid · 23/10/2012 22:14

Bloomin Nora buffy! That's one happyland house you will have there Grin

Folicacid · 23/10/2012 22:15

I meant to say He, not She.

izzywizzyisbizzy · 23/10/2012 22:43

I love Baker Ross - I spent £50 on a "making box" best money I ever spent.

izzywizzyisbizzy · 23/10/2012 22:46

Baker Ross are also on quidco

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 23/10/2012 22:49

My DD still loves her Happyland at 6, gets very upset if I suggest getting rid of it. Mind you she gets upset if I want to throw away an old cereal packet. We don't get the Happyland out too often now, but when we do she plays for hours with it. The only problem is it's so bulky to store.

pigleychez · 23/10/2012 23:04

We are another happyland family.
I bought the girls (now 4yr and 2.5) a ton of Happyland for Xmas last year.
They have the village set, vets, farm, house, post office, bakery, camping set, xmas set, Ferris wheel etc etc and about 1000 people!
They adore it and id say its about the most used toy ever! :)
I cant see it going anywhere for quite a while... agree about it not being the most storage friendly toy though. Its all in a massive plastic box but even thats overflowing.
Been very tempted by the offers this year as they love it so much but they really dont need anymore!

HanSolo · 24/10/2012 00:19

BTW- Book People CINDERS code gives 10% off, not 15% as stated above... still fantastic though Grin

BeaWheesht · 24/10/2012 05:21

Remarking place

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend · 24/10/2012 08:03

Good to hear that older ones like happyland too, maybe it's something my 3 and 1 year old will play with together. Wish I'd ordered more of it now!!

Have just copied this from Hotukdeals incase anyone hadn't seent it.

Tesco have two codes that work at Tesco Direct which seem stackable if you buy certain things. The Codes are:

TD-KMPW - £5 off when you spend £35 or more on CD's, DVD's, Blu-Rays or Games Software

TD-MXTN - £10 off when you spend £75 or more on any product on Tesco Direct

Hope it works for someone

MooseyMoo · 24/10/2012 08:05

buffy just a fledgling happylander Smile DD loves the fairground (got full set for half price a few months ago from Argos). DS, 11 months, loves chewing on the people and can move the carrousel round.

Right, off to see what's on offer at my local sainsburys.

MooseyMoo · 24/10/2012 08:09

WineGless · 24/10/2012 08:23

Just been checking the "bargains" on sainsburys. Just be careful as the hot wheels stuff I was nearly tempted by is still five quid cheaper on amazon and they have double nectar points on. Worth comparing prices before you click!!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 24/10/2012 08:30

I bought a half price Playmobil set in Sainsburys sale lsst year £50 instead of £100, massive box, got it home and realised it was only 36 pieces, including joints and animals, a real rip-off, I took it back, there was a thread on here about it, several other people had done the same.

Frontpaw · 24/10/2012 08:35

Sainsbos had an amazing xbox offer LAST YEAR and they often do bargains on electrics. Keep an eye out there

milkymocha · 24/10/2012 08:38

On the sainsburys website and the majority of the toys past page 10 are 'out if stock!'
Not happy as some real bargains!

Frontpaw · 24/10/2012 08:41

Maybe try instore.

milkymocha · 24/10/2012 08:45

Sadly i do not have a sainsburys nearby but hope you all find some bargains Smile

oreocrumbs · 24/10/2012 09:06

I waited up for Sainsburys last night but the site crashed! Had a look this morning and the only thing I'm tempted by is the monster high for a friends DC.

Will find out if they have the dolls and buy them if not!

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/10/2012 09:13

I have placed a £40 order with Sainsbury's for toys this morning. I have 2xmini Lego city vehicles for the boys stockings, a Lego technic helicopter for DP Hmm a nerf tag gun and extra pack of darts for my nephew (as requested) and 2 Lamaze cot toys and wrist/feet rattles that I'll wrap for DS3. Smile

Piemistress · 24/10/2012 09:37

Ditto the playmobil jet, half price from £50 to £25 on sainsbos but £22 on amazon!
