I've just spent an hour "watching" collectable Charlie Bears on QVC Christmas in July.

I need to throw myself on some spikes.

I got dd a couple of presses yesterday for dd,a wooden farm set reduced from £28 to £7.99 and an Everything's Rosie doll for £5. Is it really bad that I keep forgetting to look for ds? He'll be 11 months at Christmas, so won't need much.

buzzgirly Where did you buy them from?

milk I got them in Argos, our local store had a reduced toy section - it was great. I will keep going in to see what else they have over the next few months. Not sure if all shops will have the same offers.

How was QVC Christmas in July 70 get any bargains? I never got a chance to watch it.

TBH buzzgirly the QVC CIJ is a bit meh now, it's mainly the stuff from clearance (with a few new things thrown in).
I did buy: ( on 3 Easy pays)

A Magician Set for DD ( her Big Box Present. She's mad about Dynamo, so I think she'll like it)
and 2 sets of Jelly Pearl things that you add water to + fake snow . I'm going to use the pearls for Hallowe'en to put hands into to 'feel' things.

And on WaitList, so I might not get- a set of 9 trays for Christmas Eve Hampers and putting treats in for the School Christmas Fayre.

Still got Yankee Candles to go.

70 sounds like you got quite a few bits out of it. I had meant to watch, but we are staying at mils while new house is done up. What started as a little bit of work on house has turned into loads and is beginning to stress me out. I mean where am I meant to stash all the presents I've been buying?

Speaking of, I got ds's main present today. It's a 2 play tent and tunnel thing from tesco - reduced to £10 from £20. I think I'll change my name to bargaingirly!!!!

Santa Hat
