Fuzzpig, the graphic novels are on Amazon and are a really good gift for Twilight fans, even if they have the other books.

Thanks shoulda, I know at the moment she hasn't read the books at all but loooooves the movies.

Other DSD is really easy to buy for as she watches a lot of comedy (she mostly has excellent taste :o) so we've been gradually building up her DVD collection of various shows. Not sure what else to get her though.

I think our location decision has been made. FIL announced yesterday that, to use up a hotel voucher, he'd book it for Stephen's Day (it's a hotel near to us) for the 3 day stay allowed. I said we'd have to decide fast so what we were at for Christmas, at which point DH said it was way too early yet. MIL and FIL weighed in to support me, saying that we'd need to know if we would be down before they come up - so it was sorta left that they will book the break and we'll stay up and all will be well. I think. (No bad feeling at all, PIL were laughing at DH, he's probably still jet-lagged from travel - but I think I've won that one).

Always feels better when decisions have been made! I hate uncertainty.

At work we have been told that unlike previous years when booking leave was first come first served, this Xmas they are looking at who has had Xmas leave in previous year, and they will decide, so you have to apply for it. Worst part is they don't announce it til october! :(

I'm saving my energy for QVC's Christmas in July ( 24th/25th).
I shall need all my reserve for online searching, phoning and seperating my DS from killing his sister and getting Hyper X-Box-itis.

(Might make some food for DH and DC but I have to say it looks unlikely)

QVC do every year, Christmas in July.
I first watched it in 2001 when I was home from work with my little DS (who was ill, tummy bug thing)

They used to do loads of USA products, decorations, candles, Mr Christmas music boxes, Quacker Factory clothes (sequins, beads very festive) Artscape tops.

Then over the past couple of years, the stuff has been Clearance stock rebranded as CIJ.
If it's sat for weeks/months on Clearance, then I've seen it already, but it still sells.

This year they've got Yankee Candles, Prices Candles, Lindy Bowman wrapping (I bought a mega pack of bags,boxes,wrapping paper and tissue. It lasted years and I gave some to DD school too).
