Well i got a small but welcome check from my water company so I decided to start my shopping.
I brought dh a hoodie and a t shirt from Animal -He gets them every year. And I got ds a nerf gun and a peppa pig mini books from Amazon for the toddler.

I'm starting to get excited now.

70's - I've been eyeing up those Lindy Bowman boxes you recommended on the other thread but I'm wondering if spending £23 on boxes is bonkers

Pets -you do get a lot of boxes for your ££. There's a couple of them that have poor reviews but mainly they are 5*.

I bought boxes from HomeSense last year which were IIRC £8 each. They were very nice TBH but at price (I bought the biggest boxes)

I also bought some of the Lindy Bowman bags about 3 years ago. I used 2 of the big ones for DC stockings. (A Christmas Tree and a Dog) with the lights that have a little on/off switch. They are lovely

Some of the LB are about £2-3 each .I wouldn't use all the sizes in one year, but the little jewllery boxes are nice, and some with hold jumpers etc.

I've ordered trays but they are out of stock, so I might not get them

I just brought them with the last of my check. I can use the big ones for the boys Christmas hamper and then use them to store the decorations in after.

That's how i'm justifying it anyway

Wow 20 weeks seems like nothing!

I've totally stopped doing anything as I've been ill for ages. DS's birthday on 30th though so after that I think we will be planning more. Still need to declutter massively but can't as I am barely able to move :( even worse, my parents are coming up tomorrow and will be bringing more stuff for us to sort out/make room for as they are selling their house (will be the first Xmas with separated parents, not sure how that's going to work!)

I'm sure Xmas wouldn't happen this year if it weren't for online shopping!

fuzzpig hope things with our parents aren't too stressful. Will you have one of them on Christmas day? I feel for you, my parents split up when I was about 20 - was so awkward.

We are still not in new house, that's been 6 weeks. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll be in before Christmas!

I haven't really got any new presets, but was in poundland the other day and saw great boxes for christmas eve hamper. I think I'm more excited for the build up than Christmas day itself. I have decided to do a Christmas activity everyday in December with the dc so been planning those. My dd will be 4 at Christmas so going to take her to e pantomime for the first time.
