Thursday through to Sunday is the Conintental Market - food from all over europe - it's AMAZING
From the 15th Nov to the 24th Dec it's the Christmas Market - handmade stuff from all over the world

A walk around town and all the markets with a eggnog coffee from Starbucks, wrapped up in scarves and gloves....

I've been looking at markets too. Did Lincoln last year but was but disappointed. Was ridiculously packed too!

I love Starbucks. Tradition is I take DM to a Starbucks near us that's sort of a pod looking out at the river for a Christmassy coffee before present delivering.....

Does anyone know when the new John Lewis Christmas advert is on?

Are they even doing one this year?
I know ASDA is doing one and Cadbury..but it's John Lewis for me.

Google says all big retailers will have them out by end of this week...

M&S have got Helena Boneham-Carter in their advert which is out online tomorrow.

John Lewis is said to be using Lilly Allens version of a Keene song.

Lidl have theirs out

Cadbury I haven't looked for to be honest.

The CocaCola truck starts it's tour on the 14th of Novemeber.

I can't wait! Just get Tuesday out of the way and then it's the Christmas run up officially!

Can't believe Christmas adverts are starting this week, hopefully the JL one won't make me cry this year .

Confesses that I have a chrismas ornament up already. It's a wooden reindeer, seemed too much hassle to dig out the decorations box to put one ornament in so it's sitting proudly on the kitchen windowsill, DH thinks I've gone mad :o

Buying the ingredients for the Christmas cake tomorrow and making it Wedneday, then off on holiday on Friday.

I like the Lidl music, but wish that Aldi (Aldi Little Things ) had thought of it first ! Purely because I prefer Aldi to Lidl !

None of you will believe me when I say I have kind of decided in my head that there are 3 parts to Christmas this year, well, get ready, I have done Part 1 and Part 2, just waiting for bits to arrive, (so they are not really done, but are ordered !).

Part 3 is started, just have to make a couple of lists so that I don't get carried away.

I have finally decided that I will get a new green tree, if I can find one I like at a good price (I love a bargain, me) and will use the decs we have used for years. The DC and DH told me when I was dithering about getting new lights and decs that the tree always looks lovely, so why change it...

I can't wait to see the JL advert too. Loved last years Snow people.

Currently indulging in the last tennis of the year, Rafa plays tomorrow, Vamos ! Did consider going, till I saw the prices of tickets ! I'd rather stay nice and warm at home and watch with a good view from my sofa.

Love the coca-cola adverts, as a kid I always used to think it's not chrismas until that advert had been on.

Me? Well, I haven't had a chance to do anything really as a)I'm skint and b) the routine started again today...I did manage to squeeze in an hour at the gym though so it's not all bad.
