Don't usually wrap his toys but might this year.

Can see him breaking a few things throwing dinosaur around tho Hmm

I want to give him it now......

Wooh new series of American horror story next week Grin

What you been up to today?

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 15:32

Oh you have to wrap it up, really loosely mind.

I forgot about American Horror...

Today I've been doing this Sad.

So not a good day but I'm hoping this is the last of it.

What have you been up to? Apart from buying doggy presents.

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 15:47

On the upside though...

my voucher from Sky for Tesco arrived today so that's the Christmas dinner paid for!

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 15:54

Holy crapola! I read that thread but didn't register it was you!
How's DD? Poor thing! Some kids are truly horrible Sad
Am glad police are taking it seriously and they FTFO Angry

Shopping for me! Been to lush and bought snow fairy wands I needed for gifts and got myself a lovely bubble bar. Smells divine, so will be bathing til I'm a prune to tonight!
Wandered round the 99p store and took DM food shopping and picked up a few bits there.

Think might treat self to a sky film tonight, the purge maybe. I fancy horror.

Do you watch american horror? Was disappointed with season 2.

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 15:55

How come you got voucher? Yay to free dinner Grin

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 16:08

She's a lot better now thanks. She's baking again so I know she's happier. We're just a bit nervous as to what will happen now, will it get worse or will it stop. We'll find out soon enough I guess.

I haven't watched it yet, it's been on the list of things to watch for what seems like forever now. The box set of Game of Thrones is still in it's wrapping and I bought that months ago.

I forgot about LUSH! Thanks Chesty, I did say to DD that I would get her some beth stuff from there - that's another thing for the list! Thank you. I was struggling to think of what else to get her.

I love horror but haven't seen any for years, by the time the kids are tucked up in bed I'm too tired to watch anything.

The voucher...I signed up to sky as I've paid off all but 1 of the debts that Exp left me with - some of them his, the rest in joint names. Sky was my reward. It's only the cheaper package but I'm enjoying the extra channels - the kids are too. It just happened to fall in at a time where they were offering a £100 voucher for tescos if I signed up - I wasn't expecting it.

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 16:12

That bubble bath sounds great Chesty. There's nothing like a long hot soak in the tub is there?

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 16:23

They've got some lovely stuff in lush. Does she like the snow fairy stuff?
Some present bath bombs that have something in the middle looked interesting.

Does DS enjoy a bath?

Saw a very nice pink glittery star gift box with 6 snow fairy products in.
I tend to buy separate as sometimes the gift boxes have massage bars etc in that I don't use.

I got sky before christmas a few years ago...for the christmas films Blush

Noticed I'm a celebrity starts soon too! I'm such a tv addict.

Fingers crossed it gets better for DD Thanks

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 16:30
ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 16:50

was the Harry potter movies that did it for me Blush

Lush do some cool more boyish ones too...robot, Santa, snowman etc.

And the joy is I'm a celeb is on every night

Not keen on Sherlock but will look for ant and dec.

Noel's house party was fantabulous! Did it have the prize conveyer belt on it or was that another show?

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 16:53

The prize conveyer belt..omg what was that on?.....

Brucie.....Family something...god i know this.....

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 16:55

The Generation Game!

I remember Challenge Annika as well.

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 17:03

That's the one!

Oh yes, she was very glam in her helicopter.

I liked crystal maze too.

Clocks back tonight, extra sleep time Grin

farrowandbawl · 26/10/2013 17:05

Who-hoo! I can justify a lie in.

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 17:22

I'm going to stay up late....hardcore me!

I do have though....a hot cuppa, my christmas oil buring, candles lit and a christmas film on - just waiting for The Stephen King film to start.

What film did you order Chesty?

ChestyCoffin · 26/10/2013 21:35

The purge

Can't say I like it so far but scary/violent.

SevenOnwardsAndUpwards · 27/10/2013 12:05

lentil I agree something should be said though I would rather it wasn't in my house on Christmas Day.

farrow glad the police are taking it seriously, and that DD is ok. I didn't know lush done boyish stuff, will have to have a look.

We watched love actually last night, it's the only Christmas film we own though Blush. Obviously we need a collection, can anyone recommend any good ones please?

We invited my sister and her DP and DD for Christmas this morning. If they come we'll have 6 adults, 3 children and a baby. What plans does everyone else have?

ChestyCoffin · 27/10/2013 12:10

Christmas with the Kranks is hilarious seven I watch it every year!
The holiday is good too.

I can see that you wouldn't want any uncomfortableness on Christmas Day.

farrow how's DD today?

farrowandbawl · 27/10/2013 13:17

She's fine thanks for asking.

Christmas films - Home Alone, The Polar Express, Elf, Bad Santa, Scrooged, A muppets christmas carol, There's loads of Tom and Jerry and Simpsons Christmas things, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, The Grinch, Die Hard (my personal favorite), A christmas story, Miracle on 34th street, Nativity 1 and 2, Arther Christmas, Life of Brian,, The Santa Clause......

There's loads, I'll have to sit and think or at least go through the dvd collection.

We don't have plans for Christmas in the Bawl household. It's usually just us 3 which is how we like it. I do have a friend and her son visiting on Christmas eve though.

Chesty - hows your cold? Any better?

ChestyCoffin · 27/10/2013 13:48

Cold has gone!

Is there any Christmassy films coming out?
Know frozen is at cinema in dec and nativity 2 on dvd. Anything else?

farrowandbawl · 27/10/2013 13:55

I don't know, I'll have a look Chesty. Glad to hear the cold has gone now.

farrowandbawl · 27/10/2013 14:00

The Hobbit - part 2.

Other than that and Frozen - it's looks a bit dissapointing this year.
