Roses or Quality Street?

Whats your preference ladies. When i was a kid it was always a big jar of Roses my mum used to buy. My naughty bro and myself worked out a way of gently twisting and easing the lid off without breaking the seal so we could nick the odd purple one out of it before christmas.
Anyhow what do you prefer,Roses or Quality Street? Im trying to decide which to get this year. My preference is usually Roses but in later years ive had Celebrations and Heroes at xmas.
DH used to prefer Quality Street but then they removed the Peanut Cracknel and ever since he wont eat them on principle.
I didnt try the Lindor choccie truffeles until Easter this year and they are lush but they are TOO nice so i would end up eating too many. So if you absolutely HAD to choose would it be Roses or Quality Street for you.

Quality Street - but wish they'd get rid of the orange ones. Bleugh. Does anyone eat them?

We used to have Celebrations and Heroes but got bored with them after a while, so now we have Quality St. DH always had them as a kid he informs me. Fortunately for both of us, I like the toffees and hard centres and he likes the soft ones, so everyone's happy. To be fair, we never have them at any other time of the year.

But to balance them out, I've also bought M&S choc tree decs and neapolitans for the advent calendar, Green and Blacks mints for after lunch and a pack of miniature choc bars, and Divine choc coins for the stockings.

Always had QS as a child but DH took the view that Quality Street were the ITV of chocolates and it had to be Roses. I had no idea we were being so chavvy all those years...... Personally I would prefer marzipan or liquorice.

Usually buy Celebrations, but if I had to choose between Roses and QS it would be QS.

Quality Street. Roses chocolate can be a bit gritty.
