Thought it might be helpful for us to list where we may have come across any bargain buys in the lead up to Christmas.

I've personally found a few good buys on play.com. I had 3 Christmas DVD's (aimed at toddlers) for £4.00 with free postage. They also do leapfrog leaptop for £14.99 beating Argos and Toys R Us by £5.00 and Tag Junior for £22.39 (£30 in Argos). Aquadoodle Classic comes in at £13.39 (£19.99 Argos). Everything has free delivery although does take around 3 working days.

I also nipped into Asda yesterday to buy a toy vacuum which was originally costing £22.99 but they had a good one for £12 and then noticed a 2 for £20 offer on and therefore picked up a Leapfrog Potsy for just £8 - it was going to cost nearer £20.

For Playmobil fans Morrisons currently have the Playmobil clinic and ambulance set for £20. Lots left in our local one (hint probably with the clearance items, not the main toys section).

Also a jet plane for £23.99 at ELC

Have just bought the Lego Harry Potter Quidditch for £9 (which works out just less than half price) at my local Tesco's. It looks like the offer is only in store as not showing on the website.

I just got some pressies from Crafts4Kids (online) as it was the cheapest place for the solar system craft toy i was after and once there i found some more bargains! (sale on).
Hawkins Bazaar are opening up their shops around the place lately and have some good stocking fillers at reasonable prices.
