It's just that I'm, y'know, in need of a Christmas spreadsheet template, advice on present buying, suggestions on using up the last of the sales, jam recipes for hampers, canape recipes to try out before the big day, and...... You get the picture.

Sept 25th is a good date - day after dd's first birthday so when you started the thread last year I was in labour so could not partake - inconsiderate but ill forgive you.

However, I did get the impression last year that in order to manage all poncetasticness correctly when starting on the 25th of September, one needs a battle plan before the 25th. This is probably easy for those of you who have done many Christmasses before, but newbies (who still have to go to MIL's for the main event anyway) need help.

So, could someone direct me towards a 'timeline for Christmas prep' please. Or maybe start one here? Please?

(PS DD is due on the 18th of October so I'll be dealing with late pregnancy/newborn in most of the lead-up therefore I really need to get sorted)

For my blackberry vodka I used 70cl vodka, 500/600g blackberries and half that amount in sugar - simple! It's been brewing for only a week and tastes fabulous already! You should only keep the blackberries in for a max of 3 months as after that it'll taste woody, but after decanting the longer you keep it in bottles the better it will taste.
