3 yo DD would like - to quote "the Beatles and a Magical Mystery Tour Bus. Ringo has a pink top".

Can anyone help with this?!

What are your children's strange requests, and what have you bought to fulfil them?

When I got to secondary school I finally got into clothes, fashion etc, and that Xmas I asked mum for a pair of khakis

She got all freaked out saying I was too young and what on earth did I want them for? What would I do with them?

It transpired she thought I said car keys Hmm :o

Thanks the pj ladies, Debenhams had the Peppa Pig ones recenty but were sold out of her size. I might scour Ebay in the next couple of weeks.

Last year she continually asked for a Pandye. We had no idea what it was and asked if it was a panda - nope, what colour was it - blue, what noise did it make - she didn't know. It was the only thing she asked for.

Xmas Eve there was a panda on the news or something and DD2 squeals - A pandye (so it was a panda). DH remembers there is a large cuddly panda in the loft that DD1 got when she was 3 but never took to.

One happy DD2 on Christmas morning. DD1 never even twigged that it had been hers.

Well DD (2) has just asked for a real life fairy Hmm

I might struggle with that one!!!

MrsSnaplegs · 19/11/2010 22:15

Simpson just spotted the request for a real life fairy - my DB "made one appear" for my DD a couple of years ago - used a little red laser pointer thingy from behind her back and shone it onto a wall and moved it about randomley at various times - she fell for it at 3 Grin - just be careful to get a low powered one as they can be dangerous near eyes

MrsSnaplegs · 19/11/2010 22:17

My DD asked for a dolls house and sausages when she was 2 Hmm

spiderlight · 19/11/2010 23:03

I would just like to announce that I have found 'a stone mover with a hopper and then another hopper like a hopper road train' on ebay Grin Sadly it is not a nice cheap Thomas/Bob the Builder one but a proper Diecast Model for Serious Collectors, but it'll be worth the ££ to see his face after all my warnings that Father Christmas might not know very much about quarry machinery

Fairy Jars - any good, Simpson?

Baysmum · 19/11/2010 23:16

My ds would like a magic wand so he can 'magic himself back into a baby' - aaah1 failing that, a jetpack please but he doesn't mind if its a toy one (phew)! I see that someone has mentioned a jet pack before - does anyone know where I can get one (not a Buzz Lightyear thing) as can only find on ebay from states and postage is ridiculous!!??

BeauticianNotMagician · 20/11/2010 10:44

In the supermarket the other day ds1 was pushing the trolley and said 'mummy this is my main present i want santa to bring me this big trolley for christmas'.Easily pleased.A few people overheard and we were all in hysterics.

My ds's also want 'Harry Potter wands' so they can magic me into a baby and a frog Hmm

Eddas · 20/11/2010 10:54

ds (3) told me he wanted a 'future'!!!

He wsan't being profound, he does infact mean (after some investigation) he wants a time machine! He loves the film Meet the Robinsons, in it they climb into a time machine and always say 'to the future' so he obviously thinks that's what they're called Grin

Sadly I can't find anything that looks like the time machine Sad

brimfull · 20/11/2010 10:57

when ds was 3 he asked for a handle

i was perplexed

then we figured out he was asking for a gun

fel1x · 20/11/2010 11:01

ShirtyGerty · 20/11/2010 11:11

nickeldonkeyonadustyroad · 20/11/2010 13:28

I want a shufflies castle.

can anyone please magic me one of those?

(i don't have children, so any requests for santa in our house are from me or DH. DH is easily pleased - he just wants a new pair of slippers)

TheHouseofMirth · 20/11/2010 13:49
