3 yo DD would like - to quote "the Beatles and a Magical Mystery Tour Bus. Ringo has a pink top".

Can anyone help with this?!

What are your children's strange requests, and what have you bought to fulfil them?

one year DD wanted a "yellow"!
We bought her a selection of random yellow things!

pinkpetrol · 18/11/2010 21:04

Two pink diamonds and a wish in a bag!

spler · 18/11/2010 21:17

A mini frige that has allways got coce in it. As well as 'mony' and 'sweats' and a REAL safe.

pinkthechaffinch · 18/11/2010 21:24

My son would like a special camera which alerts him to when a driver is driving illegally.

I think he saw one used by a copper on 'Road Wars' Hmm

AllarmBelly · 18/11/2010 21:42

Littlepurpleprincess your child-friendly cuckoo clock sounds fab, could you share details please?!

SixtyFootDoll · 18/11/2010 21:45

DS 2 asked for a set of chattering teeth one year.

bumpybecky · 18/11/2010 21:47

two years ago dd1 (then 10) asked for a pineapple

she did this knowing full well that I can't stand them but would do my best to get everything cheap on her list. So she got one, poking out of the top of her stocking!

spiderlight · 18/11/2010 21:47

Having watched some obscure DVD about big machines at quarries, DS (3) desperately wants 'a stone mover with a hopper and another hopper so it's like a hopper road train'. Help?

Preggersplayspop · 18/11/2010 21:49

Ds1 said he would like a pile of poo with nuts in it. He suggested a rubber ring for ds2. Can you tell he is a 3 yr old?

Piccalilli2 · 18/11/2010 21:51

DD1 wants 'a red stuffed love heart with writing on like the one granny and grandad have got'. Except they haven't. Oh, and all the Toy Story characters. All of them. Every Single One.

GingerGlitterGoddess · 18/11/2010 22:12

Please can someone link to the breastfeeding cat? Am horribly fascinated - sounds like a step up from those scary ones that breathe! Love love love this thread, sounds like there is a short window between having no clue and wanting everything they've seen on TV when they ask for the most amazing and inspired things! Grin Can't wait for DD to hit that age!

taintedpaint · 18/11/2010 22:14

Ooh gillybean2! I think I might have to get that! I am actually considering a potato themed stocking, with a selection of real potatoes settled on the top. DNephew was so insistent it wasn't Mr Potato Head he wanted that I am almost afraid to let him see a fake potato present before a real one. Hmmm.

Actually questionned him again tonight after typing earlier. He has added 'sausage' to his list. Not sure how to get around that one....Hmm

monkeysmama · 18/11/2010 22:16

My dd asked "to fly like Pingu" for her 2nd birthday. We tried many things to fulfil the dream but the fairground trip in a flying balloon won hands down even though it was 4 months later. "You did it mama!" Grin

For Christmas she wants a Sylvannian car, some goggles and a sister Hmm (I am not pregnant!)

TheFallenMadonna · 18/11/2010 22:19

DD (6) wants a jet pack. She reeeeeeeally wants one. Reeeeeeeeeeeally! Apparently.

monkeysmama · 18/11/2010 22:19

PurplePrincess does your LO like Peppa Pig? Dd started asking for a cuckoo clock & I had no idea where she'd even heard the name from until I saw the offending episode myself.

mylifewithstrangers · 18/11/2010 22:24

Piccalilli2, the Disney Store is doing a collection of small figures from the latest movie here. Was considering it for DD.

DiscoDaisy · 18/11/2010 22:32

My youngest child would like a bag of gold for christmas. I did point out that if Father Christmas could get one then DS's brother and sisters would have been asking for one for years. Grin

bulby · 18/11/2010 22:37

Dd 2.5 wants sweeties and a box, think I can manage that.

muminthecity · 18/11/2010 22:42

DD (5) has very specifically said she wants either

A desk for her bedroom with a swivel chair, lots of papers and a computer which has the internet

Or

Her very own box of chocolates

Guess which option Santa will be going with this year? Grin

amistillsexy · 18/11/2010 22:52

everybodiesgotone is this what you're after?

My DS3 (3) wants 'A rein de deer' that flies round in the sky!' He insists it must be a real one, and that FC can provide it cos he'll just leave one of his own! He's happy to borrow it for a bit if FC needs it back! Grin

DS2 (4) wants 'plastic toys... pleeease , Mummy!' Blush

DS1 (7) has not given us any clues so far, but last year he sprung on me, the day before Christmas Eve, an apparantly long-held and desparate desire for a full Roman Standard Bearer's costume. Complete with bear-skin cloak. Shock

Bucharest · 19/11/2010 07:51

spiderlight surely Thomas or Bob the builder have something of the ilk? I know Thomas hangs round in quarries a lot? Or at last the troublesome trucks do, there's bound to be a stone mover thingummybob!

Peaceflower · 19/11/2010 07:59

Last year Dd (12) asked for a memory foam mattress Grin.

DS (7) wanted a Homedics massage cushion Shock. This year he wants a billion £ - join the queue!

lottiejenkins · 19/11/2010 08:15

Re the chimneys.........
Two years ago we went to Disneyland Paris for Xmas. Wilf said "Mumma will FC come to disneyland?" I explained that he was english and the french wouldnt understand him and that Pere Noel wouldnt like it Wink. So we agreed that he could hang his stocking at home before we went. Sorted or so i thought. A week before we went we popped into our neighbours and J (husband) was cleaning their chimney.
"Mumma i got a good idea!" "Have you darling whats that?" I asked with some trepidation.......
"I ask J and D if i can leave my stocking with them!"
"Why darling?"
"Their chimney is clean Mumma. If FC comes down our chimney he will get dirty Mumma!"
Three guesses where his stocking was hung?? Grin

DiscoDaisy... bag of gold chocolate coins?

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 10:10

Trust me he wants the proper stuff. Good old fairy tales. Grin
