I wold def ring, they will be able to advise you on whether to take him to A&E/ring your out of hours GP. If he is in pain and has been ill since Thurs he should be checked out.

treedelivery · 13/12/2008 22:26

NHS direct for sure. They'll ask you if he's rousable so ring froma mobile or walk about phone if you can.

Hope he's ok.

GaspodisWearingASantaHatHoHoHo · 13/12/2008 22:31

This is a very good site for information, my GP recommended it. Have a look and see if the symptoms sound familiar (I see you are ringing though, that is the best plan!)

if he's been like this 6x in last few months, has been unable to eat since thursday and is now "screaming in pain" i am that you have not sought medical advice for him before now.

am not a medic... but... he could have appendicitis needing immediate attention, could be dehydrated due to all the d and v, could have bowel obstruction needing immediate attention.......

if it's 6th time in months it doesnt sound like a bug does it?

please get him some proper help... why wouldnt you?

GaspodisWearingASantaHatHoHoHo · 13/12/2008 22:33

control freaky - not helpful.

treedelivery · 13/12/2008 22:34

No not helpful.

noonki · 13/12/2008 22:36

go with what feels right.

controlfreaky...Why the harsh tone I wouldnt have taken my DS to the doc for D&V unless showing signs of dehydration. Not a lot they can do. And my Dh who is a medic would second me.

wrinklytum · 13/12/2008 22:36

I would ring NHS direct and speak to the or your out of hours service.Hope he is OK xxxx

twinklingtrace2 · 13/12/2008 22:36
