i xped with op before she said she was ringing for advice. if my 6yo had this history and was screaming in pain "for an hour" i would be seeking advice...

hope he is sorted soon op.

Be cool be calm just do what you have to do and never ever worry about doing too much! It's ok if it turns out to be tummy ache.

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 13/12/2008 22:42

Are you mocking someone in the middle of this woman phoning 999 for her son?

thenewme · 13/12/2008 22:44

reat isn't it, td?

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 13/12/2008 22:44

I would call an ambulance for a child screamining in pain for any length of tim, from tummy pain where there is swelling.

Probably cramps but def better safe etc.

GaspodisWearingASantaHatHoHoHo · 13/12/2008 22:45

twinklingtrace2 · 13/12/2008 23:28

do i dress dd and take here? what if heas got appendicitis: and an not there shit shit

OP posts:
wrinklytum · 13/12/2008 23:32

Well if dd ill and has diarrhoea and vomiting or somesuch that is infectious probably not a good idea, sadly.

If he does have appendicitis then he is in the right place.xxxxxxxx

twinklingtrace2 · 13/12/2008 23:34

dd dont have d&v shes got a bad chest but its usaly here at hospital shes as seizures

OP posts:
pooka · 13/12/2008 23:37

Don't take your dd out. There is honestly not much you can do by being in hospital, better that you try and get her to sleep/carry on sleeping and play it by ear - wait for your dh to call.

Horrible for you, though.

wrinklytum · 13/12/2008 23:37

Well if she hasn't got anything communicable and you feel you need to be there I would go.Is there anyone who could mind dd for you?Like a grandparent?I know its late but it is an emergency??

abbierhodes · 13/12/2008 23:37

Yes, if it was me I'd dress DD and take her. Is there someone you can call to sit with her?

pooka · 13/12/2008 23:38

Yes - much better to get someone to come and look after your dd, rather than to get her dressed, awake and off to wait at hospital.

KbearingGiftsWeTraverseAfar · 13/12/2008 23:40

Give DH time to call you for an update. Can you call a friend to come and take care of the other DC? Get ready to go, pack a bag of his things, PJs etc, that will occupy the time until DH rings you.
