Just wondered what the norm is for the amount of times for hair washing per week

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

ds and dd2 once a week if I remember
dd1 is 8 and her hair looks greasy after about 4 days, so she washes it.

DS (4) and DD (1) three times a week, but we've not used shampoo yet...

Started out seeming unnecessary for DS when he was a baby, and its never been necessary since. I suppose that will change once they use products on their hair, but for as long as possible, they'll go without shampoo!

Every bath-time for 7mo DS2 - he's at the smearing food stage so every other day is about as long as we can leave it!

DS1 (3) hates having his hair washed so it tends to be once a week for him - screams, crying, shouting for 2 minutes then back to playing with his toys. Sigh...

8y DD. 2-3 times a week. Usually tied up during the week, and often at weekends too.

DS, 6yo, washes his after swimming club twice a week. Still uses Johnsons baby shampoo. GrinOnce/twice a month I wash and condition it. The other times he's in the shower/bath it gets wet.

Found my answer from 2008 and the same answer now Grin

Both DSs have v short hair. So... when it smells/they've got something stuck in it.

DD1 (4) once or twice a week, DD2 (1) about 5 times a week because she has a habit of rubbing food in her hair and using her plate as a hat Grin
