She's fallen and her legs all swollen. She's weight baring but she's limping and she's crying intermittently.

I'd say yes definitely. It does look straight to me!

K0OLA1D · 14/02/2024 20:48

Yes. Or depending on age a walk in that does x rays. Ours x Ray over 6 and its open until 9.30.

Exasperatednow · 14/02/2024 20:48

Yes. Absolutely. Much better to err on the side of caution.
And I'm a is your leg falling off mum.

Skiphopbump · 14/02/2024 20:48

I you have an urgent care centre take her there, if not A&E.

Jessforless · 14/02/2024 20:48

Yes, that doesn’t look right! Hope she’s okay

What happened with the fall? A hard surface or a distance?

MumMumMumMumMumMumMum · 14/02/2024 20:49

Of course go to A&E, soon

MerCatsSpawScience · 14/02/2024 20:49

Yes I'd say to, hope all is ok.

TheSnowyOwl · 14/02/2024 20:49

Yes. Hope she’s ok.

Quartz2208 · 14/02/2024 20:49

Yes it is. Even if it isn’t broken they can help. dD tore ligaments in her foot and needed a boot for two weeks

coxesorangepippin · 14/02/2024 20:49

Yes

Hellocatshome · 14/02/2024 20:49

Urgent Care or A&E if you dont have one.

trooc · 14/02/2024 20:49

Yes it would be here.

vipersnest1 · 14/02/2024 20:50

Yes - and make sure you've given her some pain relief.

Alwaystired23 · 14/02/2024 20:50

Yes, or minor injuries if there's one local to you.

Frogger17 · 14/02/2024 20:51

Personally, I would give painkillers and let her sleep on it, if she can’t sleep take her in, if not take her in the morning.

I would go to Minor Injuries not A&E though.

gamerchick · 14/02/2024 20:52

Absolutely. Give her painkillers though, they might not and it could be a while. Take a couple of water bottles.

Poor little scrap, that must be painful.

Ouch!

StarlightLime · 14/02/2024 20:53

Definitely. Poor kid.

PotteringAlonggotkickedoutandhadtoreregister · 14/02/2024 20:53

Yup, that’s a wonky leg!

DeathMetalMum · 14/02/2024 20:58

If you have minor injuries with x-ray go there. We have an a&e within 15 minutes, but used a further away (35mins) minor injuries when dd had hurt her ankle. We were assessed, sent for an x-ray and sorted within an hour - no break thankfully. Fantastic service, I expect we'd have spent at least half the day in A&E.

We're the same. We have an A&E right on the doorstep, but we drive 20 mins to the walk in for any injuries. Though they did miss my sons broken hand in December and we had to go back 2 days later after his xray was re examined

sugaryouth1 · 14/02/2024 21:01

She's fallen out of a plastic bus type thing at soft play. She's weight baring but she's walking likes she's drunk. Off to a and e

Our Walk In Centre will X-Ray limbs and limbs only apparently.

Looks like ligaments to me, the shape and swelling suggest it might be that. Take her to A&E, I hope she gets better soon OP 💐
