New thread as this one is nearing the end ,, also going to post a separate thread for people either waiting for MR’s or starting the process of one (mandatory recommendation)

Hopefully mine has gone to a dm aswell looks like they are on with these dates.... i will try ring on monday and see if there is any news, im not holding out much hope for it to change though as i dont think i have enough evidence etc,, fingers crossed you hear soon x

@Vickyxxx you never know though. Its so wrong, but i think sometimes it’s just pot luck as to whether your dm is in a good mood or not 🙄

I’m gonna called at 9 scan date 27-11 was told I was near the end of the wait on Monday let’s see what today one says x

@Margot82x It is, mines been with them over a week now 🙈 I’ve seen people say they’ve been almost 3-4 weeks with a DM aswell.

Good luck to you too! Its crazy they try to fob you off, with things that aren't criteria. Also shool and services, don't always do what they're supposed to. My daughter it's got too late to do EHCP, but if they'd applied when symptoms started she'd have one. We've begged for stronger meds and pain management, but they won't do it. She wouldn't use mobility equipment, as she's worried about stigma. Sometimes its just so hard to convey, what their needs are, when its not always documented or actioned correctly.

He got awarded!!!!
ON TUESDAY!!!!!!
they told me yesterday still with a DM but he said no payment was issued on Tuesday when the award was made!!!

you've kept me sane.

Just a little update and a timeline of events leading up to our award to give some hope that the end is in sight.

Called for forms on the 01/11/2023.
Scanned 16/11/2023.
Received two letters between November and January, can't remember the exact dates.
Called numerous times just to hear that beautiful music and to get most my cleaning done.
Received a text on the 26/02/24 to say our claim was taking a little longer. Called another million times and spoke do some truly delightful call handlers. Was told it went to a DM on the 08/03/24. Called on Monday the 11/03/24 was told still with a DM and to wait a couple of weeks. That afternoon I received a text at exactly 15:02 to say my beautiful boy had been awarded.
It was 18 weeks and 5 days from calling for the forms and 16 weeks and 4 days from the forms being scanned in. Backpay went in today he's got MRC and LRC.

It was a long road but people have waited longer. It tests you in every sense of the word. I only had a letter from SENCO and I bored them to tears with two pages of information. Hoping that we have a ton of awards today. I will continue to check in. I'm going to spoil my boy and buy him things he needs to make his life just that touch brighter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

so glad the wait is finally over, it’s been a long wait for sure!
Next year it will be the dreaded PIP for my son but I’m just thankful it’s over for now x

Scan date 23/11 and 03/12, called just to add some extra information about additional support given to both boys, lovely man gave me an update without me asking said 23/11 is with DM and I will receive a letter and/or text with the details of his award and payments then backtracked and said “oh if he’s awarded that is”, 03/12 isn’t currently with a DM but is going to one soon although he said the scan date is 01/12 but the letter states 03/12

I don’t know if I should call again this morning as I called them yesterday morning😂

@012345k I am not sure if it’s worth it. I might try in two weeks if I’ve still not heard anything. Are you planning to call again?

I feel the same I was going to call tomorrow but I want to call today but I phoned yesterday 🤣
