Just got off the phone, still no decision but might be later today, he said the DM doesn’t require any extra evidence and I will receive a text when a decision is made 🥱

@Mummyto5beautys no wasn’t under special circumstances so I’m not sure why I have been done so soon

Wow 😮 not even 7 weeks!!
I'm 8/1 and seeing this makes me feel so nervous. Your DM must be super speedy x

Iv just rang 15/12 scan date she said that they are now taking in between 16-18 weeks so looking at the end of April they are currently working on middle to end of November

Same scan date! I rang on Friday and they said to me not with DM but aim to have it with them by 16 weeks after scan date then 2-4 weeks after that for decision. I said well it’s no good sending letters out saying 15 weeks then wondering why the phones go mad is it 😂😂 but I’m hoping the time scales she gave was worst case scenario! Really hoping for a decision either way before Easter bank hol! Lots of awards this morning though so they’ve clearly been working the weekend 🤞🏻

Keepgoing88 · 18/03/2024 09:27

I’ve caved and currently calling - silly I know as I’m only 15 weeks !!

Mazzie1 · 18/03/2024 09:29

8/11 with a dm, said should know by Wednesday which takes me to 19 weeks

Keepgoing88 · 18/03/2024 09:29

To be fair I just have my phone on speaker and doing my cleaning as it’s day off so that makes me feel a bit more productive !

Yes I’m hoping the same other wise I’m going to have to use the money I have saved to take the kiddies places over Easter to buy more stuff to help with sons disability nappys sensory chews etc it’s a joke the wait atm it was quicker during covid and yeah fingers crossed they finish November and early December this week and get us done and awarded next week x

KatexCR · 18/03/2024 09:38

Well done to all awarded this morning. Glad you finally have a decision!
15 weeks today for us, but I'm not phoning now till next week. At this rate it'll be the summer holidays before we hear 😂😂.
Shocked that end of Jan are getting awarded, yet some are still waiting from end of oct/beginning of November! I don't get the way they work this at all 😂. X

Fudgie9922 · 18/03/2024 09:40

I’m 15 weeks on Wednesday. I think the poster who got awarded from 31/01 went on special consideration. You get looked at super quick under certain circumstances

kristie198 · 18/03/2024 09:47

@Lolly966 that's great news I'm just waiting for the house phone to charge a bit then I'm gonna ring x

MimiRae · 18/03/2024 10:03

Mumof4mmmf · 18/03/2024 08:04

What is the difference between a hold pile and being with a dm?

I think the hold pile is where it sits waiting to go to a dm so basically where it’s sat since it’s scanned I think 🌚

012345k · 18/03/2024 10:04

@rjnicola no problem at all. Can finally leave this chat and be back in 4 years! Good luck to you all, stay positive and from experience most dm decide pretty quickly x

Beachlover18 · 18/03/2024 10:05

No she said it wasn't, it was just a normal new claim.
Just keep seeing the odd new ones coming through. It's mad lol. X

3boysand2girls · 18/03/2024 10:08

@TealFawn hi you have the same scan date as me is yours a new claim ?

Amazing!! Yes you can claim through them the carer element rather than carers allowance as uc will claw back pound for pound otherwise x

MimiRae · 18/03/2024 10:10

Lolly966 · 18/03/2024 09:13

012345k my scan date is the 20/11 and the man said my decision was made on the 14th of march and back payment should be in my bank tomorrow! Honestly over the moon this is going to help my daughter soo much can’t stop shaking! Thank you to everyone for being amazing I hope you all get the decisions your children deserve! Xx

So happy for you!! Xx
