New thread as this one is nearing the end ,, also going to post a separate thread for people either waiting for MR’s or starting the process of one (mandatory recommendation)

They all tell you something different I am sane scan date as you and I rang a few weeks ago about birth cert and extra evidence and they said 16 weeks. I said well a letter telling me 15 weeks is no good then is it x

The man I spoke to was so nice I asked if I could clarify if it was with Dm and he said yes a decision will be made today or tomorrow and I will hear something by the weekend and to phone tomorrow to check, he better not be lying because I used my best phone voice for that call 😂

Still hopeless.
Scan date 13/11, with a CM or DM for three weeks and still nothing.
Still waiting for CA at 9 weeks.

It’s really not a decision should be made with in the 8 weeks like it was before covid I don’t understand how they are getting further and further behind it’s a joke it’s discusting the money is not for us it’s to help out disabled children that they are entitled too they need to sort the system out and the call handlers none of them seem to have a clue they just making nonsense up to give themselves and easier job

Same scan date as me and I'm coming up to 3 weeks with CM. Feels like it's going to be stuck with them forever! I'm going to ring in the morning

Apparently case manager and decision maker do the same thing

Oh gosh, right OK. I just presumed all children would have one at birth registration. I also read on gov.uk that to get one issued for purposes of DLA it should take no more than 24 hrs. In saying that we have targets to get people out of a&e and onto award or discharged...it is hardly ever met 🙄 x

I phoned today to check if they had received the extra evidence I'd sent. She said they hadn't received it but a decision had already been made yesterday and my little boy had been awarded until 20/11/2025 Scan date 23/11

I did… and then 1 hour 15 mins in… I got cut off!!!!!!!! I was sitting in my car just waiting as I was afraid of getting cut off in my lift as I live in a block! So annoyed!

dm phoned over a week ago for evidence sent off 1st class not heard since phoned today still not scanned 😳🤦‍♀️ taking pxxs now lol 😂 19 week tomorrow xx

They said April 11th the latest

TBF they need to update the letters and say it’s taking 20 weeks
it’s no use them getting upset at people calling up at 17/18 weeks etc when the letters are saying it’s taking 15 weeks
