Hi don't know if anyone can help me I updated uc nearly 2 weeks ago now still nothing on backpay yet

I've got my statement for this month and the dla element is on there but not the carers element I'd this desperate or are they not giving me it?

Noone will reply to me in my journal

@Amycroft hi I’m not sure usually once payments are updated then it goes to a decision maker for back pay and then they tell you how much they owe you I would ring on Monday as you still haven’t heard anything mine was pretty quick last year when I was awarded dla with in 2 days I had it all updated and recieved back payment money that same week too x

Yeah I will, I just dont get why it's all been updated bar the caring element even though I made the change of circumstances!🤔 Thankyou though x

@Amycroft yeah that seems strange maybe they forgot to add that on but I would definitely call tomorrow to notify them and also write it in your journal about carers too if you haven’t already as you don’t want them trying to say they can’t back pay you the carers money as you’ve left it to long to notify them x

@Emma2345 yeah I'm guessing that's what they have done as they have had 2 weeks to get it correct! I find uc more stressful than dla ffs!!

@Amycroft Im like u, still waiting. I have added another note to my journal tonight to ask for this to be chased up regarding backpay. Hopefully we hear soon x

I am sending a Mr off tomorrow as when I called last week four times they said my information as not been scanned they signed for it on the 31/01 had a letter dated the 1st of February saying that the dession was still the same so I called and asked how the cm as saw the information the person on the phone told me to do an Mr or another coc form

I'm just wondering if anyone has had a decision after a text saying it's being looked at?

I had a text two weeks ago just wondered if the wait is much longer

Hi I've been having same problem with uc updated my journal on 19th Jan wasn't verified till 27th so then they sent me a speeate payment only 1 months pay so they then requested back pay on 31st still waiting all I'm being told is no timescale and can't be escalated . Bloody hopeless

Been asking everyday since and being told the same thing .

I’ll be calling in the morning too. Scan date 11/10, two letters and a text so far. I feel like it’s probably a decline as I’m seeing dates way beyond mine now. I’d just like to know one way or another at this point.

I’m getting so annoyed with UC just telling me there’s no time frame on decision about back pay. I let them know around 18th Jan. don’t know what else I can do at this point.

I updated my UC on 26th Jan, had the letter yesterday to say the backpay has been calculated and will be in my bank on Tuesday. So about 2 weeks in total x

Thanks Gracie1909 hopefully won't be much longer for Me now mine was sent do dm on 31st Jan even though I updated them on the 18th Jan 9n my journal

Think I'm going to ring this morning, rang last Tuesday and it was with the decision maker and the Friday before and it was with the decision maker then too.

Anyone with a scan date as early as mine still not heard anything?? 19 weeks waiting today

@ForMauveEagle I had a txt to say still looking on the 22nd Jan and then a txt this sat the 10th to say my daughter qualifies x my scan date was 12/10 so I waited 17 weeks 2 days. gl i know it drives u crazy in the end x

Still nothing here. Will be calling at 9am. I’ve resigned myself to bad news but I just need to know so I can start to mentally prepare for the MR.

Juat called uc the man said you need to add a note under service issue!! He wouldn't even look at my account as to why carers isn't on my statement!

It's so stressful that they won't get back to you on the journal now won't even help when you call!

10/10 scan, arrived on the 7th apparently.
