Im 13/10 only had one letter rang before Christmas they told me around march

Same scan date as us we received the generic 15 week text message today our text was a bit early some people say they get them 15 weeks to the day exactly x

Lindsey89 · 22/01/2024 13:20

I thought that as we aint 15 weeks yet unless ot when they are moved from one pile. To another hopefully not too long I have more evidence but in 2 minds send it with the wait already its from genetics so quite important

Hi all, does anyone know how long it takes to get an answer or correspondence back from uc after updating them for child on dla. I did the change last Monday with uc for son receiving dla hrc and lrm i also put it all on my journal and i have had nothing back from work coach or normal payment journal. Has anyone had to do this change recently and had someone come back to them? thank you in advance

I put a note on my journal on Friday had a message back to say they'd sent to a DM but they couldn't say how long the decision for back pay will take. Not heard anything else since x

Lindsey89 · 22/01/2024 13:29

@Jonesy0102 i will. Send it in then just didn't want it to backlog the claim more its nightmare waiting this long x

Hayz0711 · 22/01/2024 13:29

What does the 15 week text say? I haven’t received any texts. Had 2 letters, one saying 11 weeks, the other up to 15. X

ToddlerandTeen · 22/01/2024 13:30

@Mummybabies2 I can deal with Feb it's Feb next week but march is ages 😭. When I think about it I just get so deflated. It's the acknowledgement and other doors it opens that parents are struggling to wait for x

It won’t hold it up the more evidence the better really. I reckon we have 6 weeks to go easy from here if we hear sooner great but I doubt it x

ToddlerandTeen · 22/01/2024 13:33

@Hayz0711 11 weeks? I'd be so surprised if they've processed a new claim in 11 weeks in the last year unless under special circumstances x

Basically we haven’t made a decision don’t contact us we will write to you once we have made a decision

Hayz0711 · 22/01/2024 13:35

It’s a COC, not a new claim. X

Shilli84 · 22/01/2024 13:36

Hey, just wondered if anyone knows the wait times on mandatory reconsiderations please? xx

Mojo161989 · 22/01/2024 13:56

Lindsey89 · 22/01/2024 13:59

Shilli84 · 22/01/2024 14:06

@Mojo161989 Thank you so much ☺️
Is there anybody else waiting on here for one? I’ve just requested mine today as have all the extra sleep evidence I was waiting on finally x

deeeeee100718 · 22/01/2024 14:07

How long does it take once its with a decision maker?

My scan date was 15/09 called today and told it was with a decision maker.

ItsRalf · 22/01/2024 14:10

I think it varies on area too. Some are quicker than others. Also who's desk it lands on, what their work load is. I wish the system was digital so we could see the process updates. It would make things easier.

I hope you all ain't waiting too long.

Senmam · 22/01/2024 14:10

@deeeeee100718 my scan date was 11/9 and has been with the dm since the 15/1 and still no word it’s such a worrying wait

Do you not have the letter acknowledging the scan date if so there should a national insurance number on it which should be the child’s if so photocopy that and attach it to your copies being sent if not Just put your daughters name address date of birth on every piece of evidence and ask the post office to staple all the photocopies together aswell x

ToddlerandTeen · 22/01/2024 14:12

@Hayz0711 I thought COC were taking even longer than new claims people here have been waiting like 20+ weeks. It's crazy. I obviously hope it is done within the timescales they've given you. Will keep my fingers crossed x

deeeeee100718 · 22/01/2024 14:13

Senmam · 22/01/2024 14:10

I have a feeling mine will be refused so I am getting ready to appeal. It's such a long wait and process time. The lady I did speak to said anytime now so not sure if that is positive 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lindsey89 · 22/01/2024 14:14

@Leahanne1232 im going to look through all my paperwork now I cant see me throwing that away could have got caught up in my sons letters as im gather g evidence start a claim for him also as been advised to so need do all this waiting again x
