@JJO15 your a day ahead of me getting so nervous now and worried my son is going to get a decline fingers crossed

Scan date 12.07
Phoned at half 9 this morning, got through just before 11, I was told it was with a case manger as of this morning and should hear back no later then Tuesday!

Is that two people 12/7 with a dm today!? Xxx

@Tmxx have you had any news? I am scared of a decline as i sent zero evidence. I have it al here ready to post today but tempted to keep back in case i need it for MR? what do you think? xx

Ladies in the know, whats the difference between a case manager and a decision maker? Does it go to one before the other?

@Mumofasd3 wow that’s early, I didn’t think I would see your scan date with CM already, amazing news it means they must be working though July quickly 🤞

@Mumofasd3 I asked the same this morning as mine is now with a case manager, from what I was told the case manger is a lower role from the decision maker but can still make awards on claims? I was so confused about it myself still not 100% but not as bad as this morning!

It’s always best to send in all the evidence that you think is relevant so that the DM can give you a suitable award.

For example, you can leave it how it is and the DM could award MRC, no mobility (I’m not sure how old your child is so I’m randomly saying awards). You could do a MR, send in the new evidence and a new DM amends the award to LRC, LRM. The first DM may have awarded you MRC, LRM if they had everything in front of them at the time.

If you need to do a MR, you don’t need to submit new evidence. You can state the reasons why you disagree with their points and cross reference sections within your evidence. I hope that makes sense. I always think it’s in our best interests to send everything so that it can be looked at first time round and do a MR from there if needed

No news for me! Hoping Monday 😬😬 it's going to drive me mad all weekend! Thats a hard one because I don't know how it works with getting it scanned into there system but I'm sure I've seen two 12/07 being with dm! So if you are the 13th of November would it get seen before a decision! Like I really am not clued up 🤣🤣 what are you thinking!? Xxx

I called this morning but kept getting cut off, I will try again on Monday.

Hope that we'll be with CM/DM soon as theres some with them now who're week before us.

@Tmxx I am going to send it anyway and see what happens? Apparently if an MR is needed you dont need to send further evidence just respond to the questions. I have never claimed anything before and just filled the form in with all of the contact details for my daughters specialist etc and assumed they would need to confirm all with them. Wish i had sent it all sooner xx

Oh my god yes send it for sure then hun as it will definitly just help as if its an me the evidence will be there ready to be scanned on already because you are close to a decision now! xxx

Absolutely gobsmacked but over the moon.. first time I've called as we are 18 weeks today (Scan 07/07) and have been informed that a decision was made yesterday for my little boy and he was awarded HRC (he's only 3 next month so no mobility). I'm so made up that the wait is finally over and my little man has received what he deserves. Good luck to all who are still waiting :) xx

@Melliee no I haven't , I've just got back from school run and trying to decide whether to or not lol. I'm worried they will have a go at me as I only called yesterday lol

@Melliee tried calling and the line really bad and I got cut off! Think I'm gonna take that as a sign and just hold out till Monday morning. Will try calling at 9 when they open.

Said claims taking 17.5 weeks
Sent my sons birth certificate 4 weeks ago and still hasnt been scanned on system or returned hopeing they dont loose it 😏 mam answered seemed like he couldnt be bothered to talk tried get me off phone as soon as possible

I didn’t call today scan date 10/7 wasn’t with DM yesterday so thought I would wait until Monday. Was really hoping for a text but none has come and I think it’s too late now. Another weekend of not knowing this has officially done me in!!!!

@Doymum my scan date is 12.07 I phoned yesterday women who answered said it'll be end of the month so phoned today and it's gone to a CM! Hope your hear something soon!
