Sskanf · 09/11/2023 09:46

The wait times are so frustrating!. Gd luck @Clairexdx let us know what they say.
@Keddie was you told 17.5 weeks if so shouod hopefully hear next week!
Wish they stuck to the 15 weeks all we want to do it to be awarded to help our littlr ones
In my case I want to be able to get my almost 4 year old speech therapy he's only able to say a handful of singular words

Tmxx · 09/11/2023 09:47

@Rebeccanew @Doymum @Keddie sorry can't remember who else to tag from this morning! But just had the world's loveliest bloke on the phone he was so understanding at how long it is he told me that it should be going to a case manager he would say anytime between now and next Tuesday (14th) and said we need to hope mine is at the top of their pile as that means then it will be quite quick with an answer and if its the middle or end of the pile it can take some time especially if they have complex cases in front of my boys so he said fingers crossed for you that your near the top But he then coubtsd again yo doubt check from the 11th July for me and said yes I would definitly say anytime from now until Tuesday next week to be with the case manager! He was amazing 👏 I'm 11/07 xxx

Keddie · 09/11/2023 09:48

@Sskanf I felt as thou she was actually trying to help me, she advised to get further evidence sent in asap. Asked for a report from school and also for all of the diagnosis and Hospital reports. I had not sent anything in at all so going to sort today xx

Mumto2oneofeach · 09/11/2023 09:49

25 minutes on hold so far 😴 think it’s going to be a long one! Good luck everyone x

Thismamalife · 09/11/2023 09:49

Would it be worth calling every day? My scan date is the 5/07. I called yesterday but was told still in DM pile. Good luck everyone.

Keddie · 09/11/2023 09:49

@Tmxx at lest we have had some nice people after all of the feedback i have seen of how nasty/ awkward some of the call handlers can be xx

Clairexdx · 09/11/2023 09:50

I got through to a lovely bloke who explained the process. He’s saying it takes 18 weeks and is still in the holding queue to go to a dm :( and to call back by the end of the month 😞😬. It’s so frustrating. I’m 17 weeks tmw so I’m hoping I can hold out til next thurs/Fri to call again x

Keddie · 09/11/2023 09:51

@Tmxx so looking at around next week for decisions? I’ll call tomorrow still and keep us all updated lovely! As you just never know over night things can happen xxxxxx

Rebeccanew · 09/11/2023 09:52

I’m hoping to see some more decisions today xxxxx

Tmxx · 09/11/2023 09:54

@Rebeccanew yes definitly! It seems what they told @Doymum and me really matches too I am the 11th july and doymum is 10th, they have said Monday for her and Tuesday for me to be allocated! So that works out perfectly for our scan dates! Only 1 consistent thing I've ever seen when we all ring to find out xxx

Sskanf · 09/11/2023 09:54

Aww thats good atleast yiu can now gather some more evidence and send it in as soon as. I sent in a written statement from school SENCO, his IEP report and a report from the SEN leader at the council who assessed my child at school and a SALT statement. Haven't really spoken to gp in regards to my son as I tried couple times they weren't very helpful.

Sskanf · 09/11/2023 09:56

Thats great atleast he was more clear with you and nice. Instead of keep getting told to wait 18 + weeks

Mummyto3boys23 · 09/11/2023 09:56

Hi all, my son was given middle rate care for ADHD. He isn't 5 till January so was sent some forms to fill out in sep that were sent back for the mobility side. Anyone else been in this situation? I've had no letters to say they even have the forms. Or do I just wait till his 5 then I will hear?

Momtothreeboys · 09/11/2023 10:05

Just got through they got the extra information I sent in . Scanned it in on the 7th so literally the day they received it as I sent it on the 6th recorded. She said it won't even go to a case manager until 17.5 weeks . So I've got a good wait yet. Currently on 11 weeks .

Doymum · 09/11/2023 10:07

Has anyone been awarded today?

Asdmummyhere · 09/11/2023 10:12

Just got the text to say my son qualifies x

Rebeccanew · 09/11/2023 10:13

@Tmxx awww so hopefully we all have answer by the end next week I’m hoping! Or even better goes to the overtime workers this weekend xxxxxxxx

Doymum · 09/11/2023 10:13

@Asdmummyhere no way congratulations I’m so happy for you 😊

Melliee · 09/11/2023 10:14

Keddie · 09/11/2023 10:14

Congrats @Asdmummyhere what was your scan date ? x

Asdmummyhere · 09/11/2023 10:16
