@PinkMoscatoLover what's your scan date? Mines 25/7 and think I'm due my second text next week going by what everyone else has said.

What’s everyone’s scan dates that’s received texts today? Mine is 19/7 does both letters say still looking at claim or is one the scan date letter?

I have 2 claims I am waiting on for my boys just a month apart with scan dates. Had a second text today but is there any way to find out if it’s the second text for my first claim or the first text for my second claim? 😭

5 weeks after my second text is tomorrow so will let you know if I receive one 🙈

@Girlmum3110 hii I got my 9 year old approved for dla the start of this year for dyslexia, sensory needs and anxiety out the house... all I sent in was her dyslexia diagnosis and report stating how bad her phonological awareness was and memory core, her EHCP application (which was finally approved after dla application went through) and the head of SEN at our school filled out the form for me. And then everything I could write in the form for her. She was awarded MRC and LM xx

@Mumto2sengirlsxx Thanks for the reply. Hopefully she gets awarded then. She masks very well in school, so school haven’t filled out anything in her form. Hopefully put enough evidence in. Wasn’t sure about putting her dyslexia in but it affects her a lot too. Fingers crossed x

@Girlmum3110 dyslexia was the main focus on her dla form, as she's 3 years behind in school. Has continously 1 to 1 but her memory core is the worse side of her dyslexia, she can't remember anything she learns St school. Instructions etc and because she can't hear phonic sounds she can't read a sentence so road signs etc which causes a lot of anxiety when out the house and won't leave my side to play or anything incase she gets lost she over thinks a lot... dyslexia has so many areas that affect the child its horrible xx

20th July was my scan date x

Had to ring them! So she said it’ll go to a dm by the end of next week and I’ll have the outcome by the first week of November… she was like, you’ve already been told this last week when you called 🤣 x

Getting anxious here too. I sent in autism diagnosis and private psychologist report. Nothing from school as she masks there. Focus was very much on anxiety around bedtime routine, toileting and her (currently non diagnosed) OCD around this and nighttime waking. I hope they call the GP as she knows about these issues and I have been there in tears begging for help for DD. I don't know how much they actually call GP or school to verify.

The other statement was from my DM who is technically the second carer for DD as her dad doesn't live with us. However I guess from DLA perspective I could have told her what to write so not sure how much weight this bears.

I am at 16 weeks now so have chased up our CAMHs report for her anxiety and OCD assessment as I think this will help. Just very anxious I've not sent enough. DD is 11.

😂🙈 I called on Thursday and it wasn’t with a DM but today it was and was told it went to a DM last week so I’m sure they just make things up! I can understand their frustrations but at the same time they should adjust their letters to 19 weeks. Would stop continuous phone calls x

@Mumtotwoboys121 omg hope you find out soon then! I’m 20/06 so I know I’m a few days behind you but I was hoping I might of got a little bit more information out of them lol. She was like hold on while I add up how many weeks you are so I said well I’m 17 weeks tomorrow, she was still counting though & then she said yes 17 weeks tomorrow. Wasn’t the best person to be put through to! Haha x

Received my 2nd text, 3 weeks ago today, on 25/09, so hopefully hear within the next couple of weeks !

I received my 2nd text 25th Sept too, scan date 30th June. Is yours similar?
does anyone get an idea they scan them on in batches as most scan dates are very similar that I’ve seen 😊

@Lovely17 we are only a week apart i rang last week they said mid november i should no my scan date is the 3rd of july !!!! She said the wait could be 18-20 weeks or something

I'm 16/6, so 17 weeks +3.
Rang today to add on details about my daughters appointment this morning. Still not with DM but with a pile ready to go.... 😬 Was told around 18 weeks until I find out.

Oh no sorry for the mix up guys, this is actually my first text for my current claim. The previous text was relating to my son’s claim and his scan date was in March lol whoops!

My scan date for my daughters claim is 11/08 so pls ignore me🫣
