Hi everyone

happy birthday SB

Can we pop over here at some point today?

Still on halfterm ,just me and my boys this week. We've been out to local Forestry Commission lodge and play area for lunch and play runaround. Brrr, rosy cheecks all round.

Catch you all later

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/02/2008 14:53

hello nifty nanny - poor charge is that what nannies call mindees? you shouldn't feel bad like you say you don't know him well yet.

speculum wise - in the past they've had to get a smaller one for me had a big baby since that though !!!!

LadybirdG · 20/02/2008 14:55

I want a word with you lot! (tis MamaG btw)

i'm HORRENDOUSLY broody today and I blame you, its all your fault

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/02/2008 14:58

yeah me too mamaG -

looneytune · 20/02/2008 14:59

Sorry, quick dash in as got another question.......my 10 month old mindee arrived with bad chest, runny nose etc but I still take children with a cold. Mum did mention the gooey eyes but pharmacist thought ok so she said let her know if not. How do we know when it's conjunctivitis? Both eyes have yellowish goo coming out which I keep cleaning, her eyelids are a little red and so she looks a 'little' sore but she's happily playing with 12 month old and seems more bothered by her nose when upset? Just don't know what to say at pickup about whether or not she needs to go to a Dr? She only comes 2 days a week so do you think I'm ok to still have her tomorrow?

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/02/2008 15:00

dp is being very wilful and not letting me have my own way - WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT - i'll be too old if he doesn't give in very soon

LadybirdG · 20/02/2008 15:01

looneytune · 20/02/2008 15:01

looneytune · 20/02/2008 15:03

LadybirdG · 20/02/2008 15:04

LadybirdG · 20/02/2008 15:06

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/02/2008 15:08

a/ we've already got one of each
b/ i said i didn't want more kids after 35
c/ would i be happy to give up my craft room
d/ blah-blah-blah
e/ you[me] said "just one more" last time

vV has a full on paddy - stamps feet and cries

southernbelle77 · 20/02/2008 15:49

Just thought I'd pop in while I'm collapsed on the sofa in a heap and letting mindees run riot as I'm too knackered to do anything
(just kidding in case anyone shoots me down with a flaming arrow!!!)

Been out all day and its been lovely! Had special birthday cake with a candle and got a lovely box of chocolates to eat later!

Still can't quite believe it! Very happy but didn't expect it to happen so quickly!! Wondering how I'm going to keep myself sane for the next 36 weeks! Patience has never been a virtue I possessed

Sorry VV and MamaG to make you all broody!!

vInTaGeVioLeT · 20/02/2008 15:55

aaahh - don't be sorry on my account
but i expect to see lots of photo's on profiles when these bundles of joy arrive!!

dmo · 20/02/2008 16:06

Sad Sad Sad

mumlove · 20/02/2008 16:16

Why oh why can't 7yr old DD understand that the red paint brush stays in the red paint and the green in the green etc. now when I use them next I need to refill with even more paint . We only had 4 colours, now they are all the same.

dmo · 20/02/2008 16:28

LadybirdG · 20/02/2008 16:29

BoysAreLikeDogs · 20/02/2008 16:44
crace · 20/02/2008 17:02

Dmo, all ok??

crace · 20/02/2008 17:06

Well Mo reckons it's in the water so you girls may just be able to hop on board the pregnancy train . You have my sympathy, being broody and not being able to do anything about it would be very frustrating and upsetting.

Girls, lol about the speculum talks..

ML - yes, the paint.. I swear my bloodpressure isn't up for this job. Don't get me started about GLITTER. (obviously a highly supervised activity!!)

Well, how embarrassing for me -we were out this pm for a playdate with a couple of friends and their little ones, about 6 in all. Who else but MY dd decides to not share, throw fits when not getting her way and just basically be more unbearable than I would have thought possible? We had to LEAVE. Ugh
