Just a quicky....WWYD in this situation.....pretty much filled my 2nd spaces every day so double pay baby no longer paying double so all happy. I started with 8 week old baby on Monday and already her mum has said she's pretty sure she wants to secure 3 days from Sept (currently does two 5 hour days) if Ofsted allow 2 under 1's for short time. I also have another baby whose starting properly on Friday doing 8-12. His mum signed contract til my maternity leave starts but said I'd keep her posted. Emailed her last week saying may have someone wanting the spaces I have for Sept and she said she'll keep at the 4 hours for now as not sure what's happening with work. So I emailed yesterday to reconfirm she's happy for me to give the spaces away (she was first so wanted to check with her) and she said she'd like to keep the 4 hours from Sept. Problem is, I did say I could offer shorter hours atm as I haven't had my baby but long term, I'd want full days.

So, am I right to stick with that and say to her I can't offer a 4 hour day as I'll be missing out on filling whole day with someone else, and it's very unlikely I'll fill the other half day if she uses me? She did say can change day but I am full if this other lady books me so can't offer her anything. Well, could tell her that on Tuesdays I'm booked for one parent but they won't usually use me as mindee goes to grandparent soooo, she could use me then and I could refund that amount to other mindees mum but she'd have to understand I could cancel at last min if other mindee needed my care iyswim (but then why would I want to take this child and have the messing about if I wouldn't actually be earning anymore anyway?

well the humiliation is over for another 3 years[hopefully] - having said that smear tests have obviously improved in the last few years as they no longer do the teeth grittingly awful scrape scrape scrape

Do you think I could get a marco sky (double umbrella fold type) and clip on a maclaren volo when I needed a triple? Has anyone tried those buggy clips before?? Am considering the options of having three littlies and the biggest consideration is their transportation!

I have not worked a full day yet this week only had my older mindee so far! Me, DP and DS went to market this morning - it was sooo cold!! Got some bargains though!

i think shoshe uses buggy clips with 2 marco skys to make a quad buggy!

has anyone got one of those strolli riders? i was wondering if it'd be a good investment as i hate both my double buggies!!!
