Morning. I've got myself a late start this morning. One mum switched to a late shift at last minute and another taking ds to school herself, because she's got a late start. I've got one to take to school then. He arrives 2 minutes before we need to leave, then don't start til 10! Won't be finished til 6 though instead of 5 tonight!

Going to a Beetle Drive at Guides tonight, to raise funds for a couple of Guides going on International Camp to Switzerland. Much fun, but exhausting, so I may need to have a quite afternoon at least, to prepare myself!

crace · 12/02/2008 07:57

Morning! Word is meant to be lovely again, and then back to being cold again soon

Busy day today, it's the day everyone comes and goes. Have a good day!

KaySamuels · 12/02/2008 07:59

Morning, I have a late start today so got a lovely lie in and me and ds have just had crumpets for brekkie. Have a late finish on a Tuesday so quite relieved I didn't have to be up at the crack of dawn. I am staying home today and chilling out with ds and mindees, may go in garden if it goes sunny.

My rabbit Pinky keeps getting out of our yard, at first we thought she was doing it herself but now I am pretty sure my crazy neighbour is letting her out. If I can't find her DS will be heartbroken. Said neighbour feeds mindee's dog through the gate, and also feeds the wild mice, rabbits and seaguls daily. I am going to have to secure the yard somehow but god knows how! Aarghh!

MaureenMLove · 12/02/2008 08:07

Kay! That's really bad about the neighbours, if it is them. Could you put a lock on the rabbit hutch door, if you can't secure the yard?

ROSEgarden · 12/02/2008 08:14

MOrning All..Kay you sound like you ahve nieghbours like mine!

Just school run to do in half an hour then am into town on a mission..i am only 30 yrs old yet i have bad bad wrinkles under my eyes..no laugh lines wont work anymore, tried it...anyone know of a good product(not a bag for my head either...hopefully back in time to give bathroom good clean and put second coat of sating on bedroom door(theyre all orangy wood at minute, we want white or oak but cant afford the gorgeous oak ones we've seen-£90 eachx8!, plus holes need cuttin, handles to buy ets!) so having a go a d.i.y..got to say...it doesnt look good so far...well have a nice day everyone...will let you know if i look ten yers younger when i get back.x

KaySamuels · 12/02/2008 08:15

I could but I like her to have her run of the yard as she is a huge rabbit! We put food and toys out and she potters about. Hutch is right size but she can't excercise in it IYSWIM. Will have to get DP to look at fence and gate when he gets home from work.

KaySamuels · 12/02/2008 08:17

There have been a few threads on here lately rose about the LIDL antiwrinkle lotion - is meant to be fabby! Do you have one near you? Worth giving it a go for the price!

ROSEgarden · 12/02/2008 08:25

No just an aldi..does it have a name or lidl own make???

KaySamuels · 12/02/2008 08:30

Iseree Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream Q10

It is a lidl brand and has come up quite well in tests, think there is a day and a night one, and also a sensitive one. Will try and find a link.

looneytune · 12/02/2008 08:32

Morning all. Unexpected day off Tuesdays are my day where I don't need to have D.P. baby so I should have just had after pre-schooler HOWEVER her mum is around and said not to bother getting her today so I'm not needed for her. Was supposed to have a new baby settling in today for coupld of hours but mum texted and said she's been throwing up all night So feel bad she's ill of course but good that I have a whole day off with just ds after school

Best go and take him now then it's the oestopath and then......errrrr........may pop into Mothercare for some maternity bras and a little look at cute baby clothes

Have a good day everyone

MamaG · 12/02/2008 08:35

Hi all

Thought I'd better check: does anybody (apart from Mo and Shoshe!) mind me sneaking in here, on a regular basis? [worried]

Julezboo · 12/02/2008 08:56

Morning all

Kay - your neighbours sound awful!

Mindee and DS's are eating their toast, then two little ones are going down for morning nap whilst I get on with housework for an hour, then we are having a trip into town today to do DS's trust fund, because he is turning 1 on saturday and I still havnt done it.

Hope everyone has a good day

MaureenMLove · 12/02/2008 09:02

I'm sure no-one minds MamaG. You are after all a minder of your own children and its useful to see it from the other side sometimes! Got your post yet? I hope it travelled OK, it may be a complete disaster! I sent little pots of food paste! Kinda made the pots myself, so it could be carnage in that envelope! It is a padded one and the paste is individually wrapped in cling film and then all together in tinfoil. Oh well, we'll see. If its a mess, I'll just send the instructions again, without the paste!

MamaG · 12/02/2008 09:06

lol!
No, post won't arrive until 9.30ish but I'm at work (DH will no doubt let me know though)

shoshe · 12/02/2008 09:16

Ahh were you all worried about me, (just been talking to London )

MaureenMLove · 12/02/2008 09:23

No, we just wanted to talk about you behind your back, so we needed to make sure you weren't here!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 12/02/2008 09:35

Result! Mindee just arrived, in buggy, asleep. Mum said, can you give her another 1/2 hour or so, she was up very early and she's very grumpy!

More coffee anyone?

Julezboo · 12/02/2008 10:05

Hello Julez, Rose, LT, Boys and dmo

Mo, take a frothy cappa pls with a biscotti, of course

southernbelle77 · 12/02/2008 11:31

Morning everyone!

First chance to pop in today! Been out to drop in with mindee and just popped home before dashing off to get dd. Weather is lovely so going to take them to park later and let them play in the sand!

I'm still on a high about all the work finally coming in! Was awake at 3.30am (thanks dd!) and then couldn't sleep with thoughts of pushchairs and car seats etc!!

Going for the Marco Sky have decided! Don't need a P&T and can't afford one anyway! If I have another baby (fingers crossed for a BFP this month!) then it will be able to go in a sling and I can put the buggy board on the back which I couldn't with the P&T! Can see why I was awake half the night can't you!!

Ok, off out again now so ta ra for now lovely people

KaySamuels · 12/02/2008 11:46

Thanks for replies.

SB77 glad you lots of business coming your way! That park sounds nice, no sand play areas round here, want a sand table from ELC.

My mindee is snoozing too so just made a cuppa!

mumlove · 12/02/2008 13:04

Happy lunchtime

Mindees are all having a nap so I am having a coffee and my lunch, then I must get the washing off the line.
Still got lots of lovely sunshine

SB Marcos are great London bought one last week as well

We had lunch at soft play so it was nice, brought the boys back and both are fast asleep.

I had to drive, cos with 6 weeks to go, dont think Tori32 can fit behind the wheel anymore (and i know you are reading this so dont be rude or I wont babysit for you later )
