Have bought a new car seat for cming in Halfords sale today, it was £49.99, dh moaned and grunted something about cming being a rip off so I ignored him. Also bought set top box cos the other is defunct. How come things break down all at once? My tumbel dryer is on its way out too and I cannot do without that!

Back to work Wednesday afternoon and Thursday then next Monday kids are back in 6th form and school (yay!). Now where shall we go on holiday this year....! We paid the mortgage off the other week having not had a holiday abroad for 6 yrs so theres one expense gone. Dh is talking about having a conservatory built on the back in March/April, perhaps to make a playroom/ older kids' room.

Ah, that's better! See, the problem with saying you'll drive, is that I do like a glass of red to loosen up before I go out! I might just have a small one now, we're not going out til 8.30, if I'm still awake!

Well, the rules were only kids that go to chavvies New Year party and mine, since she's not little. I told dh, had they said no to mine, we wouldn't be going. Bit off, I think, especially as between them, they have the most horrid kids!

Its all a bit keep it in the family. 3 of the lads are married to sisters or summit like that, so since all their family will be there, they can't get baby sitters! Between them, there are 9 kids all under 8 and most of them pretty rotten to boot. So, bit off to suggest no kids, when there's going to be at least 9 of their own there! I can't understand why you'd not want to spend New Year with your kids tbh, but thats just me I'm sure.

Just spoken to the neighbour and she says its back to normal next year at hers! She's having a quiet one with just her mum and the kids at theirs.

I am sitting here dreaming of my holiday, eating choc profiteroles and DD is watching Grease and I am wine and it doesn't get much better.
