LMGGGEEEEE'sssss

Where are youuuuuu!!!!

Don't worry, I was a blubbering wreck at our cm/toddler group last week over this E-colli business, and no I'm not pregnant!!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:45

I phoned him at work and he sounded busy and said give him 5 mins, I said 'ok, deffo wait until you're ready for some news'. 3 mins later he called sounding down and said 'go on then, tell me....new au pair started so now you've been given notice' (the sisters) and I said NO! He said OMG Mrs Looney (in funny accent)...you're not pregnant are you! His colleagues all heard so he's been the focus of attention there! (wish he wouldn't tell people in RL, it scares me, when he told work when pg before aaron, i miscarried whilst he was at the pub telling them ). Anyway, dh is happy but scared, same as me. Money hasn't worked out well recently, lots all at once happened so gutted that it's not sorted but hey ho, I'll get on the case.

Just trying to persuade dh now that baby NEEDS chinese tonight....desperate for 2 big juicy spring rolls!!!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:46

henni - that's a very good reason for blubbering!! Any news btw? I can't believe what made me a wreck [hopes LMGs doesn't come in an embarrass me ]

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:47

shit fuck shit can't believe I put ds's name God, I'm gonna have to be very careful aren't I if I'm slipping up already!!!

StrawberryMartini · 16/10/2007 19:51

Looney do you mean the lookout in Bracknell? I went there for the first time on Sunday and was WELL impressed - can't believe I hadn't been there before. And also as we were walking along one of the forest paths we saw a camera crew and a guy in athletic gear walking towards us... it was Colin Jackson!! Swoon. He smiled at me - think he thought ds looked cute splashing in the puddles!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:52

Yes, I do mean there. I must go then, never been!

MaureenMLove · 16/10/2007 19:52

Hearing pregnant peoples stories makes me cry!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:52

Even more determined to make fuss of ds next week so he feels special (i never really give him enough time and I feel bad for it)

hennipenni · 16/10/2007 19:52

No news, mindee was back with me, all nice and normal. I can't see your DS name but then again Ionly skim read.

MaureenMLove · 16/10/2007 19:53

Get the post deleted if you're that worried, but I don't think you need worry in here tbh.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:53

Sorry for making you cry What bit did it?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:53

Im not worried abouot in here really, just worried about my brain turning to mush already

hennipenni · 16/10/2007 19:54

mine turned to mush nearly 13 yrs ago, still waiting for it to set!

MaureenMLove · 16/10/2007 19:55

Oh don't be sad for me, I'm a daft old bat! I just love imagining your dh when he found out and how he must have been buzzing all afternoon.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:56

well mine did when pg with ds and it never got better but it's got worse again already (messing up on spellings etc on messages, not reading things properly etc, I thought it was just tiredness!)

MaureenMLove · 16/10/2007 19:58

I always remember reading my first pg book when I was pg with dd, I said to DH 'did you know that I will be prone to grumpiness and myget ratty & emotional at the slightest thing?' To which he replied 'have you been pg for the last 6 years then!'

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 19:59

Bless ya, I'm like that about other people. I've cried a lot at people on ttc who've got pg after trying for a year etc!!!

at your dh's comment!

StrawberryMartini · 16/10/2007 20:03

Looney I'm going there in half term with the 4 year olds - if you wanted to meet there instead? It will be packed of course but there's loads of space.

MaureenMLove · 16/10/2007 20:04

Look at us, racking up almost 100 posts today! I'm off to do collect various random Guides from bowling now. DD keeps ringing me and asking if I can take them all home! I'll be back in half hour or so. Just in case you hit the wall and suddenly take to your bed, I bid you good night and many, many congratulations again. I can't wait til June now. This is the first real MN pregnancy that I'm involved in! I'm very excited, can you tell!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 20:10

Mo, you're so sweat, I'm welling up

Strawbs - that would be fab if that's ok? Just me and ds and he's that age so should be fun Shall I ask Saz if she wants to meet up too?

StrawberryMartini · 16/10/2007 20:15

Ooh yay! Would be good if it was Monday or Friday as dh is home those two days and can keep ds with him - he's so clingy at the mo he'd get in the way and we'd have more freedom about timing etc. If you ask Saz we can arrange it on facebook or email?

mumlove · 16/10/2007 20:36

Our childming group have just sorted out our xmas party, so that is something for me to look forward to. We always have a party for all the mindees to and father xmas makes a visit.
I will have to wait for pics of scan, that always makes a pegnancy more real.

VooJu · 16/10/2007 20:45

Hi all busy busy busy.

Wow you've been busy too, Looney

Saz73 · 16/10/2007 21:10

Hi all, been a stressful week already, still awaiting to be paid by uni for mindee i've had since sept. Nearly £600 so far, I'm extremely p'd off about it, been told an other 3 weeks!!!!

LT - great news, I'm well excited for you. Take it easy mate!!

Straws - great to meet you, even better meeting you and LT at the look out. Monday would work better for me, only day when it's just me, DD and DS. Got to take DS for booster jabs in the first thing in the morning of half term, not sure who's going to cry more him or me.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 21:43

Hi everyone, can you believe dh had the nerve to use MY laptop

Strawbs - I was going to say Friday would be great as I've got Dr's slam in the middle of Monday.

Saz - can you make Friday or is it deffo no no? Also....is this booster the same as I will have had a letter about for ds? Oh...and you know how I am on your behalf about the payment!!! Did you tell them you'd refuse care if not rec'd sooner?
