Morning!

I'm hurting today. Far too much running around yesterday with the Guides! They made me play ladders and thats not good when you're nearly 40! Not sure I'll be able to manage Salsa tonight now!

Kettles on!

yeah, i thought i'd leave her as she shouldn't really be here!

what was the for?

saltire · 19/09/2007 16:57

Ladies, tomorrow will you remind me that I have my Enrolment support thingy tomorrow night at 7.pm, as I am liable to forget

MaureenMLove · 19/09/2007 17:02

I thought maybe it wasn't very childminder-like to say 'she's not my problem!'

Saltire - how could you possibly forget! You've been waiting long enough! We will remind you anyway.

OP posts:
looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:03

I never said that

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:04

saltire - will try and remind you, if i remember myself

MaureenMLove · 19/09/2007 17:04

No, but I did!!!

OP posts:
looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:05

Oh thought you'd mis-read my bit about her NOT being a problem today and thought I'd said it wasn't my problem

[looney is too sensitive!!]

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:06

TBH, I couldn't give a fuck don't really mind if mindee is a nightmare for them tonight (although I don't want mindee upset of course!!), if they didn't want her sleeping all afternoon they should have collected early

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:08

gosh, tech need to sort this out, hard to strike out if got apostrophe couldn't

Shoshable · 19/09/2007 17:09

Thay sound like the children are just to much bother why do people like that have kids, have the foun another mug au pair yet?

MaureenMLove · 19/09/2007 17:09

There, there! Get to bed early and draw a line under this week early. All this possible fag burns and freecycle, has caught up with you! Have a bevvie or better still, come salsa dancing with me tonight! Long way to come for an hour and half, but it sure gets all your frustrations out and puts you in a good mood!

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 19/09/2007 17:13

my new little bot has come out with CP! told mum that as he wasnt starting till monday, he can come in she was panicing as had to start work on Monday

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:20

Shosh - they haven't found another mug au pair yet but they have had loads of emails all of a sudden so i'm sure they'll be a new mug person soon! Oh, and get this......the adverts I keep seeing say 'great rates of pay' - what a joke!!!

MML - you're right, i know, bad week. Started off with the poss fag burns which I didn't think it was but what do you do? Wish I'd just ignored it now! Then my flipping finger and all that blood [looney goes light headed again at the thought]. Then the evil witch called AF turned up early which meant my test results are prob load of rubbish and needed again + no baby for another month, then ill children, toddler running towards the road, last night they picked up at 6.40 and at 7pm we had a quote done for windows and he didn't leave til fucking 10.30, was hungry and just wanted 5 mins to reflect on the terrible day but no, couldn't catch my breath til this guy went and when he did.......wait for it....... burst into tears and dh was like WTF I was just sooooo tired and I think a little hormonal. And then today hasn't been bad but started off shakey with that horrible lady - my mum said she'd have never done that but I'm dead proud as it's a start to me getting tougher with people

I'll give the salsa a miss thanks (although always wanted to do it!) and will get pissed have a few drinks instead.

Thanks to you guys who keep me sane!!!

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:20

MML - thanks, worked it out, just a pita

looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:36

Actually.....scrap my rant......have you heard about LMGs day????!!! and

Anyone gone through this before? She needs help or lots of strong drugs to get her through it

MaureenMLove · 19/09/2007 17:39

Poor love, she's really going through it isn't she. I've never had persistant naughtiness from any of mine, especially spitting. Its difficult to advise when you're not there either.

OP posts:
looneytune · 19/09/2007 17:44

Same here, awful isn't it. Not only did they spit in her dd1's face this morning but also kicked her later

Shoshable · 19/09/2007 17:48

I thought I had answered LMg's and just looked and didnt Know I typed it.

I would looka t giving notice, it really isnt fair on her own children, or on her, but know they were stuck for money with the move, so maybe it is not a option.

looneytune · 19/09/2007 18:01

That's what I've been telling her today. She wants to give notice but yes, money is a problem. Mum didn't seem interested at collection AGAIN today so I reckon she's fighting a loosing battle

Please can you all tell her that she's NOT a failure. She's got it in her head that she's failing because she can't sort the problem. Said she's doing everything like supernanny does and thinks that means SHE'S failing IT'S NOT TRUE - make her realise that!!!

Shoshable · 19/09/2007 18:06

She wont get anywhere without the spport of the mother, she hasnt failed, just not been able to do it alone, as we all know, it has to come from all fronts or it wont work.

Katymac · 19/09/2007 18:25

Help - Mum wants a 10yo to walk home from school to my house & then for me to keep her until 5.30

I'm not sure

I certainly can't pick her up - but there is no-one else to collect her

Shoshable · 19/09/2007 18:28

how far Katy, My ten year olds all walked home but there was 4 of them and it was only about 500m, without crossing a road.

looneytune · 19/09/2007 18:31

Shosh - this is what I said, that supernanny goes to family home and they all work together with same ideas. This is different and I agree it's never going to work.

Katy - errr....difficult....IF everyone agrees it's ok, maybe do a form saying that it's not your responsibility until they arrive at your house???

Katymac · 19/09/2007 18:38

Very safe walk home - I would let my DD do it - she's nearly 10

Lollipop lady to cross over main road - small road to cross - pavements all the way - other people walking the same way
