I have an unexpected day off today so am still drinking my coffee.

Suspect the others are in the throws of breakfast and school runs.

What you got on today then Shoshable?

I'm here, in my dressing gown having just finished my first cuppa - mindees being dropped off at 9.30 today (better than the 6.45am start on Monday)

Going to get dressed now and then come back for another cuppa before taking ds to nursery.

I am here all waiting and ready to go - needed to leave to do school run at 8am, but as the two mindees that I have today are not here yet I guess that the parents will do it as they are running late (as always!)

Which means that the toddler will not be here till 9ish and the next one doesn't arrive till 9.15!

Morning all

Morning. I'm sitting here with a cuppa waiting for mindee2 to arrive. Only got the one today and he's at playgroup for 3 hours after lunch!
Handed out notice letters last night. Mindee 1's parents gave me notice three weeks ago anyway, Friday is my last day with him, they ahve moved house.

Morning all

Ahem {taps side of cup}

I'd like to announce I have a family coming to visit me today at 3.45 to start next week so if you could cross your fingers that both him and his mum are lovely and will definately want me that would be great.

Report

saltire · 02/05/2007 08:23

If I cross my fingers I won't be able to drink my tea!

Report

saltire · 02/05/2007 08:25

But if it means you don't need to work nights or weekends in a pub, then I'll cross them

Good luck LMG, I'm sure all will go well.
I'm eating strawberries and Rachel's organic yoghurt, (which is lovely; the strawbs wouldn't have lasted any longer
One mindee at nursery til 11.30. other being dropped off late today so I'm about to go and do an hour in the garden.
I should do some housework or ironing but thought as this is 'stolen' time I'd do something I enjoy!!

Report

princesscc · 02/05/2007 10:27

My house is silent too. I can't decide what to do! Should I go and cut in a new flower bed, it doesn't need to be done, the garden is fine, but I feel I should be doing something other than scanning mn for an interesting convo and drinking coffee!

I only have one today and he's having a sleep. We can actually see the sun today, yesterday was really cloudy and on Monday night the Har(harr) came in really thick so it was cold.
He and I are going to have a picnic in the garden, his mum has decided we are going cold turkey with the potty training - no nappies at all. He won't tell me when he needs to wee

Why thank you Shoshable (simper)
