What a cow! I always pre-warn my parents of forthcoming extra days off. In fact, I had that very convo today. We've got Tuesday off for inset and another one after the May week off. Mum was very grateful I mentioned it, as she had forgotten. I'm going to find it more difficult next year though, as my dd is moving on to secondary, so I won't be in on the news letters from mindees school! Good job you're there eh?

would she have known tho?, does she have school age children too?..i can understand her annoyance at being expected to take the child without any discussion tbh, but her reaction was very haarsh, im surprised they stay with her if shes like this!?

Glad you agreed with me about the other CM, I get the impression that she doesn't think much of either parent, and when she gave them notice for their daughter she put the letter through their door the first week of their holidays, knowing full well they were away for 2 weeks, so when they got back they had 2 weeks in which to find another CM. Her last day with the girl is friday

well id have been too, but instead of asking the parent as we all know we have to remind them till we're blue in the face she sat back and seems she wound herself up waiting for them to assume!, silly woman!

Yes, I'm back! I got in half an hour ago, but I went up to see dh in his office. He is building a new pc from scratch and the last part arrived yesterday. So since then he has been putting it together. Now, the thing about my dh is people say 'ask him the time and he'll tell you how to make a watch' iykwim. So, I asked him how he was getting on and I have just had to listen to something about power supplies and 12 volt things and mother board, graphic cards {yawn!} Bless him, he's even signed up to a chat room for geeks! He's talking about threads and everything!

Salsa was fab as ever. Very hot and my thighs are killing me now! Very cute little Cuban man, with very bad English teaching though, its a pleasure just to watch his bum wiggle! I'm off to see if Kbear is on else where, coz we usually go together.
