baby not moving = calm before the storm ?

Just a little reassurance needed if anyone's had similar experience. Am 42 weeks and been in early / pre labour for nearly a week ! Had sweep fri and was 3cm, then lots of strong tightenings fri night so not much sleep (or the night before). Was therefore very relieved to have nothing going on last night so had very good night's sleep. Then realised the little fella isn't wriggling around at all. Doula says don't worry. I'm thinking he's probably tired too and getting ready to pop out. But at the same time it's a bit worrying at this late stage in pregnancy ! I'm putting off going to hospital for a couple of hours as am trying for vbac and convinced every time I go in there that I will not be allowed out ! Any advice greatfully received ...

When or if you become ready Tomps, I hope you come back to all us lovely mums and let us give you our shoulders to cry your eyes out or do whatever you have or want to do so we can help you through this awful time. Many mums here who have gone through the same thing. No one knows how hard it is as you do, hope you have lots of support. Hope we can help you heal when you are ready.
