Just a little reassurance needed if anyone's had similar experience. Am 42 weeks and been in early / pre labour for nearly a week ! Had sweep fri and was 3cm, then lots of strong tightenings fri night so not much sleep (or the night before). Was therefore very relieved to have nothing going on last night so had very good night's sleep. Then realised the little fella isn't wriggling around at all. Doula says don't worry. I'm thinking he's probably tired too and getting ready to pop out. But at the same time it's a bit worrying at this late stage in pregnancy ! I'm putting off going to hospital for a couple of hours as am trying for vbac and convinced every time I go in there that I will not be allowed out ! Any advice greatfully received ...

A lot of us here have been through the same, or similar. I found SANDS so helpful and understanding. You can contact them at any time for support and local branch contacts.
You and your family are very much in my thoughts today
You can always come here to talk to us if it helps. [hugs]]
