Do you think its rude to ask for cs when I get there? Should it have been booked before hand, or can I say I have changed my mind about vbac?

ELLBELL!!! We were last-post neighbours on active convos a moment ago. I know I am being utterly useless as a friend atm, but I am thinking of you. It has been the proverbial (?) one thing after another since I got back. Email on way, Thing too.

Divvy · 16/07/2008 21:40

Off to look at your active convos....

cos my head is up my own arse at the moment, and not stopped to think about other peoples lives...

What's the betting nothing will happen now for 2 1/2 weeks - and then I'll come home from my week away to find that the entire MN world already knows LOL.

Divvy · 17/07/2008 10:19

Small fresh bloody show first thing.

Contractions started again at 8.30am while I was still dozzing in bed, after Lily had me up at 5am (she got chest infection)

They are 10 mins apart, but this last one was 8mins!

I'm sure I've asked before - or you may even have told me........is it a girl or a boy (was going to ask "do you know you're having" - but I figured I'd get the standard "a baby" response )

Divvy · 17/07/2008 10:24

Its a boy this time!

oooo - I love boys (of course LOL)

biggreypants · 17/07/2008 12:34

Divvy you do not have to have a cannula in the back of your hand. I told them to put it in the side of my arm which they did MUCH more comfortable did nt even notice it there.

Good Luck

mydisguise · 17/07/2008 20:23

FAQ · 17/07/2008 20:39

Divvy · 17/07/2008 20:49

My body is playing games with me!

Even my 16 month old came into my bedroom earlier and looked inside the awaiting baby car seat, looking for a baby!

FAQ · 18/07/2008 20:18

no - haven't had any texts from her at all today (and I know she has my number as we went one or two back and forth last night)

Ellbell · 18/07/2008 20:21

Awww! I feel involved in this labour now.

If you are in touch FAQ, give her my best wishes.

Divvy · 18/07/2008 20:27

Sorry been really busy today, youngest very poorly and we now have community ped nurse looking after us.

Been all quiet today, just having a few pains again now, but I am ignoring them!

I will still be pregnant in 3 weeks time...you mark my words!

awww your poor DD4 - hope she's better soon divvy.

Well you have my text now - I've always wanted to be the one to "update" one of these type of threads to say that it's finally happened

Ellbell · 18/07/2008 20:30

Don't apologise Divvy. I was just being nosy (and hoping all was well, of course).

Really hope your dd gets better soon. Hang on in there.

Divvy · 18/07/2008 20:37

Well FAQ it is a full moon tonight!

dd has really bad chest infection, been on antibiotics since Wed, but today her temp kept spiking to 102!

FAQ · 18/07/2008 20:39

lol @ full moon.

What ever you do - if ou're going to keep dragging this on for a few more weeks PLEASE don't give birth from the 2nd-9th August - I'm away in Great Yarmouth that week and I'll be terribly disappointed if I'm not the first to say

"DIVVY'S HAD HER BOY"

Ouch at 102!!
