How's your fanjo after having kids? Tighter or looser?

I've just been on this thread:
here where a first-time-mum-to-be is worried because her DH wants her to have an elective caesarean so as to avoid postnatal fanjo flapping and ensure they continue to have a rich sex life.

So can you help her out by saying what state your fanjo's in now? Hopefully this highly scientific straw poll will prove this man wrong!

Fanjo took a while to spring back, but it got there eventually. It maybe looks a bit different, but feels the same.

My dh is happy just to get some (am still a bit sore from birth) but reports that it feels the same.

No difference in tightness after 2 vaginal births.

It's a bit tattier, to be honest but if anything I've found sex better.....

And keep in mind, that, even if you had no children at all, your vagina and vulva change with age.

bloke at my old work took me out for a drink when his wife got pregnant and blardy well asked me all about this as he said he was hoping she would have a c-section for that exact reason

I told him if the only thing he was worried about when his wife was pregnant with their first child was whether his willy would touch sides afterwards, then he had a lot to learn. And the fact that there seemed to be a fair few people in the world who had more than one child PROBABLY meant that sex after childbirth still happened even if might not be exactly the same.

no noticeable difference in mine-and i had an episiotomy. it healed well. bit sad that her dh is so worried

Mine about the same after vb (on drip, so fast labour with internal tear). Feels a bit different though...

tbh, I do this bloke a disservice because he was actually quite a nice guy

I think SOME blokes are so farking clueless about the female anatomy that they actually have no clue what happens in childbirth or after childbirth etc. and need a bit of re-educating.

I'd say it's probably about the same. My pelvic floor is very strong. After 3 vaginal births I could still clamp the muscles down tight enough to stop DH getting out.

I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant with DC4 and can sneeze without wetting myself - I even ran up the steps at school today. And I'm nearly 39 years old.

But neither DH or I would have cared less about a bit of enlargement. And recovery takes quite a long time for most women, regardless of how they gave birth.
