was moving a sofa (don't ask) when I felt a gush, raced to the loo, pink liquid (have been bleeding all day from a show). mopped it up, don't think it is wee.
went to get pads from upstairs (don't ask), came back down and knickers were soaked.
went upstairs to get knickers, am now sat on loo.
dh is in an exam in london until 9pm, there isn't any need to bother him yet is there?
neighbour not home yet.
on my own.
with laptop.

Awww

It can happen like that but don't get too wound up to thinking that, likely hood of it being that quick are slim, especially with it being your first.

It is very exciting from this end, you are providing great entertainment tonight

KelaS · 17/01/2008 18:00

Just to let you know, I am in Bushey, so quite nearby (also booked into Watford and due on Sunday!! Might bump into you there!), if you need anything just shout.

mom2latinoboys · 17/01/2008 18:02

My goodness there's nothing better than a good old labor thread.

NatalieJane · 17/01/2008 18:02

MarsLady · 17/01/2008 18:20

No need to bother him yet. You don't need to do anything just yet. Get some rest and hopefully labour will start in a few hours.

BellaBear · 17/01/2008 18:20

it's starting to ache a little

OP posts:
MarsLady · 17/01/2008 18:22

Good! Get some rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to bed and sleep if you can. You need to conserve your energy.

Go on! Off you pop!!!!!!

lulumama · 17/01/2008 18:22

aching is fine... you are wanting strong ,regular ctx that have a pattern and a rhtym and don;t stop, and the time between them diminishes as they get stronger......remember to eat , drink, and wee & poo regularly, and rest !!

foxythesnowman · 17/01/2008 18:23

Good luck with your birthing
