OMG Wow, so many quick responses, thank you all.

I am 6 days over due and woke up this morning at 6am with what felt like light period pains, managed to get back to sleep and woke again at 07.39 (Timing already ) with a massive back breaking, stomach churning contaction.
I then have had them every 10 minutes or so. They have calmed down to about every 30 minutes for the last 4 or so hours, but are v v v v strong and aprox a minute long.

they hurt like hell, but I'm still excited

HOw exciting ..

lulumama · 18/11/2007 20:49

remember, do not fight against it, welcome the contractions even when it is hard going, as each one brings the baby closer to you.. don;t tense your jaw, keep loose and relax as much as you can, and remember to breathe !

go girl !

hayCHingleBells · 18/11/2007 20:49

Even more exciting then!!!

Are you home birthing or going in?
